He's gone now right?

You were sitting on the couch watching some show that randomly came on. And your dad walks in and he looks drunk. You said hey but he just comes close to you and says "you look just like your mother". And at this moment you knew that he was drunk but you wondered how he got home. But you just brushed it off and took his hand and got him in his room and put him in his bed. After that you decided that it was time for you to go to bed too.

Time skip...
In the morning when you woke up you usually smelled eggs,bacon,pancakes,and coffee. But this morning you didn't smell anything. Thinking that maybe your dad is still sleep you got up and made your own breakfast and made some for him too. You loved pancakes and bacon so you made that. But your dad liked everything so it took some time to make. After you were done making everything you went to your dads room. You weren't aloud to go in there unless you actually had to. You thought it was okay since you had to wake him up for breakfast. When you went in his room it was all nasty and messy. You saw your dad laying in the bed. But you saw some white round stuff on his bed which you saw was pills. You thought bad stuff and turns out it was true.

Flashback:
Last night when you took your dad in the room he was not sleepy. He was up and still drunk he got up and took a lot of pills and over dosed.

End of flashback

You called the cops and the ambulance. When they got there they said there was no saving him.
