Jimmy walked into the cafeteria with Marco and Spinner to grab them some lunch. Craig was supposed to join them, but he wanted to talk to Manny about something so the three remaining guys of Downtown Sasquatch decided to go without him.
"Dude, Armstrong is trying to prevent me from graduating," Spinner said as he got his tray, "He gave me a D on the last math test!"
Jimmy looks over at him before rolling his eyes at his friend, "Well maybe if you actually studied, you would do better."
Marco chuckles at his fellow band mates, "Says the one who's now got Saturday Detention cause he asked Toby to change his grades."
"Yeah who's the smart one now?" Spinner joked as he jokingly wraps his arm around Jimmy to which he pulled Spinner's arm off of him.
As the two guys were heading to their regular table, they stood still as Ashley yelled in front of the whole cafeteria, "Aww they're too modest. So I'll help spread the joy. These two idiots are pregnant. That's right, because it's way too difficult to use a condom."
Jimmy stood in shock as he saw Manuela "Manny" Santos, his crush since 8th grade, run off with tears in her eyes.
Ashley rolled her eyes at Craig, "I can't believe you slept with her," she walks off with a little huff in her voice.
"Marco watch my tray. I'll be back," Jimmy said heading towards the direction where Ashley headed, "What was that? Why did you do that? You just don't scream out other people's secrets. That just makes you worse than them. Besides, if it was the other way around, Manny wouldn't even do that to you."
"Craig cheated on me with her!"
"I know that, but you don't just yell out other people's secrets."
"He slept with a tramp! Look at the way she dresses. Thongs, crop tops, and even low riders!"
Jimmy shook his head in disbelief, "Wow. All because of the way she dresses. That's disrespectful Ash. Not even that it's cruel," Jimmy walked away from her as he headed towards the girl's bathroom to overhear Terri and Paige talking about Manny's pregnancy. Which again had someone criticizing Manny.
After the two girls walked out, Jimmy bursts in to see Manny's shoes underneath a bathroom stall.
"Manny? It's Jimmy. Jimmy Brooks. Umm I really can't stay here for too long, but I want you to know that I'm here for you," he reaches for a small piece of paper with a pen before writing his number.
He pushes the paper under the stall with his foot so he can respect her privacy, "Just call if you need anyone to talk to."
Throughout all the sobs and sniffles, he heard Manny take the paper, "Thank you Jimmy."
Jimmy nods before running out of the girls' bathroom. He already had Saturday detention, he doesn't need another.
