FLASHBACK: 6 years ago

A nine year old Mei was walking home from school as she lived not too far from it and her parents had little worries for her safety. She was walking by the park when she heard what sounded like screaming and explosions. She glanced over and saw seven kids, two with green hair, two with blonde hair, two with a combo of red and white and the final boy yellow hair and a black lightning bolt on the side who was trapped in ice.

Yellow boi: STOP IT, LEAVE HIM ALONE

Blonde male: why should we, pikachu, he's just a quirkless Deku

Blonde female: you should hang out with us, were much cooler than him and actually have quirks

Mei may not have been the most physically strong person but she knew right from wrong so she did what any nice person would do. Try to save the green haired boy.

Mei: HEY, you leave him alone

The seven of them looked over at her with the yellow and green haired boy giving her a look of "get the fuck away" but she held her ground

Blonde male: look, just another useless extra getting in the way of the next number one, I CAN'T WAIT T-

The five troublemakers looked behind them to see an older male with cyan hair and chapped lips.

The boy was nervous, it's as if he knew about him prior. The man before them gave off an aura of death and sadness. Mei felt like she wanted to run but knew that she had to help the green haired boy.

Cyan: I wonder, what would happen if all five of my fingers touched your legs what would kill you first, the decay or the blood loss

The older boy gave a devilish smirk as the five kids immediately ran away in fear screaming like the little bitches they are. She looked back to see the green boy using a fire quirk to unfreeze the yellow haired boy as the cyan one apologized for being late.

Mei decided to introduce herself and asked to be friends, which they agreed to. She got to know them better as they described their stories, except for Tomura who said he "didn't want to talk about it". This went on for about an hour or so until she left to return home.
