"I didn't mean it like that, it's just I haven't seeen you in a while" I reply

"Well I just wanted to come see you since your team came back later than ours" he said "So how was it?"

"It was alright, same as always I suppose" I shrug my shoulders.

"I see"

Suddenly the door opens again, this time it's Kazama.

'I need to start locking our door' I say to myself.

"Oh! Kazama!" Tachikawa says, with my Side Effect I notice that he tensed up slightly in annoyance

'Aren't they friends?' I thought

Kazama nods at Tachikawa then turns to face me "Commander Kido wants to see you"

'What did I do?' I tried to think back to see if I did something wrong but nothing came to mind.

"Do you know what for?" I ask

Kazama shakes his head "He didn't say, only that you need to report to him right away"

I sighed and stood up "alright I'll get going then, bye Tachikawa nice seeing you again, bye Kazama"

Once I walked out I overheard Kazama say to Tachikawa "What were you trying to do in here?"

After a little while I arrived at the meetng area and walked in. Once inside I see that all of Borders Top 7 Administration were all present and staring at me.

'Oh dear' Was my only thought nervously.

"Welcome (L/N)" Commander Kido said.

"Hello sir" I say mustering up some form of courage.

"I've asked you to come here regarding an event that is going to be happening in the near future" Commander says.

"Event?" I say confused.

This time is was Director Shinoda who spoke up "There will be a Neighbour invasion like 4 and a half years ago and it is estimated to be larger"

My eyes widen in shock "invasion bigger than 4 years ago!?" I say in alarm.

I rember that day, clearer than anything, because it was the say we lost my father. Died during the invasion, to be specific he was killed in a collapsed building.

Commanber Kido spoke up this time "We request a special task from your team"

I nod my head "What do you need sir?"

"When the attack happens we want your team to not engage and to remain on standby" Commander Kido said.

"What!?" I yell angered "There will be an invasion like 4 years ago and you want my team and I sto just stand around!"

"Calm down (L/N)" Commander Kido orders "We're doing this incase something unexpected happens and we need a team on the ground quickly, your team is the fastest"

I sign in annoyance "Yes sir"

"That is all" Commander Kido says.

I turn around and head straight back to my team's operation room. Once I get there the door automatically opens and I'm thrown to the floor.

"Captainnnnn! I was so worried, where did you go!?" Akari yelled in worry with small tears in her eyes.

"Oi Akari! Get off the captain!" Aiko scolds while trying to pull Akari off me.

Once Akari is off me and calmed down we all sit down on the couches. The twins sit on the left side of the table and Akari and Aiko sit on the right, I stand at the end. I begin to explain to them that I left to go to a meeting and told them the orders we were given. As I expected Akari threw a mini tantrum about how we had to sit around and wait while everyone was fighting, the twins as usual didn't say much just glared at the air. No doubt cursing Commander Kido in their minds. Aiko remained calm and told us that she didn't like the idea either, but it was a fair point, Akari huffed at this with a small pout.

"Well the desion has been made, nothing we can do about it now" I say "All we can do it wait"
