The sound of engines roaring was all that was heard, as Ryder and his pups were headed into adventure bay, Mayor Goodway has requested their presence at city hall immediately.

"Ryder sir, what is the problem at city hall?" Chase asked as even more questions filled his mind on why he and the other pup's do not know why they are headed to city hall in a hury.

"Mayor Goodway did not say", was all the German Sheperd got in return as Ryder him self was developing question's and concerns of his own, due to the fact that the mayor always give detail's to what they are needed for.

"That's strange". Was all Chase said in return, as he himself started to get worried himself, they always know what they are headed into or atlest did, because now he and the other's have no clue what the mission is or what they need to do to help.

No one else dared to say a peep, as they new it would only result in more concerns then what they all now have, especially about the Mayor, hoping that she is alright, but she is clearly not as she requested their presence immediately, or alteast that is what Ryder and his pup's thought.

"Oh Chickaletta, I can not wait to tell Ryder and the pup's the great news." Mayor Goodway told her beloved purse chicken.

"Bwak Bwok." was all the Mayor got in return.

"What was that Chickaletta? What is the good news for Ryder and the pup's. Well Chickaletta since you want to know, I am given the Paw Patrol a vacation to a place called Barkingburg." Is what the chicken got in response, who turned her head and let out another bwok in response to the Mayor who in return just smiled.

Ryder and his pups made it to the town hall, none of them wasted anytime and rushed into the building, thoughts flooding each of their minds hoping that every thing will turn out fine, but how could it be fine when none of them new what they were about to walk into, but as soon as the door to the town hall was opened they all an image that they found strange.

The Mayor, she seems to be more happy, the worried or upset, and Ryder and his pup's did not know what to think, Ryder was about to speak but was interrupted before he could utter a word.

"Ryder, pup's, so glad you could make it." The Mayor said in an excited tone. "Is everything okay?" Is all she got in response from the young boy.

The Mayor giggled in response, which just lead to further confusion for Ryder and pup's. "Why yes everything is fine, I am truly sorry for any concerns I may have caused to you." The Mayor told the group.

"Why did you need me and My pup's here in a hurry if everything is okay?" The boy spoke as his pup's nod as they also want the answer to the boys question.

"I am truly sorry I should have been more descriptive when I had called you Ryder", spoke the women in question. "You think", Chase muttered allowed, while he let his guard down, but lucky no one heard him.

"The reason I wanted you all here is to tell you some news, some news that I think all of you will like, Ryder you and your pup's are going on a vacation!" Announced the Mayor in a rather excited tone.

Ryder and his pup's stood there in shock, trying to figure out if what they heard is true about getting a vacation.

"A vacation?" Skye asked allowed.

"Yes Skye, you and the rest of the Paw Patrol will be going on vacation, That includes Everest, I have not told her the news yet." The Mayor Spoke.

"A vacation would be great for the team, but who is will be here to help the people of Adventure Bay if they need something?" Ryder asked.

"I will tell the people of Adventure Bay of you and the pup's at the farewell party, although you will be back so it's not really a farewell, and I will speak to them after you leave about asking the people around them for help if they need it, I think this will be a great opportunity for the people of Adventure Bay. " The mayor spoke.

"Okay sounds great but when will we leave for the trip and where? Ryder asked.

"You will be leaving tonight after the farewell party, and you and your pups will be going to a place called Barkiburg, I have messaged the princess that lives there and she had said that her and her people will be glad to have you and they will have a group of guards to met you when you arrive who will show you around." Said the mayor almost out of breath.

"Today!" Ryder and his pup's responded .

"Yes so you and your pups should leave and start getting ready, and don't forget to tell Everest." Saud the mayor as she lead the group out of town hall, then she started on her preparations for the party tonight.

Ryder and his pup's rushed back to the Lookout, the have to get there things ready for their vacation which they where excited about, which could be seen as they drove by with their howls of excitement, and the grins shown on all there face's but one, A certain German Shepard

"Chase are you okay?" The voice came through his puptag which belonged to a sweet little cockapoo who was worried about her boyfriend.

"Something about this dose not feel right to me Skye." Is what the cockapoo got in response to her ealier statment of concern.

"It's just new Chase, we have never got to take a vacation, could you stop thinking about what could go wrong and start thinking about what could be good about it, for me?" Spoke Skye.

"Sure Skye, for you." Responded Chase.

"I love you Chasey." Spoke an excited Skye.

"I love you to Skye." Responded Chase ending there private conversation, and just in time, they all just arrived back at the lookout.

Chase on the other hand continued to think about the cons of the vacation, he has a feeling deep down that something bad is going to happen but he just does not know why or what it could be.
