Spiderman, Kidnapping, Tracker, Irondad

"Daaad!! I need you to put a tracker in me." Peter demanded, limping angrily into his father's lab. He just got back from another week of being kidnapped, and he was so done with it.
"Woah! What?" Tony exclaimed, turning quickly in his chair to start at his son in disbelief. He was in Medbay with his son until an hour after he woke up before he came into his lab to improve his tracking capabilities.
"I want you, dad, to put a tracker in me." Peter emphasized, carefully plopping himself into the chair next to his superhero dad. He glanced around the room, inspecting the dents from thrown chairs.
"Why do you want me to put a tracker in you? Well, wait, I know why, but, like, why in you?" Tony asked, studying his son's bandaged body. People try really hard to break his son, but they only end up angering both Peter and the Avengers more.
"Because then it can almost never be removed, and you'll always be able to find me. I'd rather be found within a day of being kidnapped if this is going to keep happening." Peter sighed, resting his head on the work table. He knew it would keep happening. It's just part of the life of both a young Stark and a superhero. At least he was getting Russian language classes and insights on the illegal tech world from it all.
"Well... I guess if that's what you want, kiddo." Tony stated with understanding and concern. He pulled up another hologram blueprint and looked over at Peter again.
"I think you should help out with this. It will be going in your body, after all. By the way, where do you want it placed?" Tony smiled at his son when he offered up the task of assistance. It always made Peter happy. Peter looked up and grinned back, carefully standing to look at the blueprint over his dad's shoulder.
"I want it next to my spine, maybe a little below my ribs. The only reason for that is because nobody seems to damage anywhere near my spine, weirdly enough. I think it's because they like to cover me in what they hope will become scars, rather then never see me swinging through the streets again. Makes it feel like they somewhat care about me in a morbid way." Peter stated, moving some things around and typing things into the blueprints.
"It makes me sad sometimes that superhero life just makes the people involved have a morbid sense of humor." Tony sighed but worked along with his son. If his son wants to have a crazy strong tracker that can't be broken and can use signal blockers to send its own signal, then so be it. He'll let Bruce know about it later.

"Do you think you and Dr. Cho could do it? Maybe we can get the Wizard in here, too. He's a doctor." Tony asked Bruce, showing his science bro the blueprints and explaining the situation. He was nervous that he'd let his son down but not being able to convince Bruce.
"We're at a risk of damaging some nerves if we do this, but Peter has been known to grow those back, so I think we can. Could you call Peter so I can talk to him about it? And could you let Dr. Strange and Dr. Cho that I want their assistance for this?" Bruce asked calmly, giving Tony a reassuring smile.
"Sure! Sure, I can do that. I'll do that now. Thank you!" Tony quickly left the tracker with Bruce and ran off to get those that his science bro asked for. Bruce frowned slightly once Tony was gone.
"He's so worried. We need to get him to rest one day." Bruce stated aloud to himself, and internally to the Hulk, as he got tools ready for the surgery. He asked for assistance because sometimes Peter's healing kicked in too soon, and if he wanted the tracker chip in before that happened, he'll have to be fast.

Peter grunted as he woke up, glad that his dad had turned off the lights already. He could feel the chip in his back, and he grinned as he opened his eyes, glancing around for his dad's face.
"Peter!" Tony cheered quietly, grinning back at his son before spitfiring questions such as, "How are you feeling? Does it hurt? Are you comfortable? Are you okay? Do I need to get Bruce?"
"Dad. I'm okay. It feels a little weird, but that's okay. And perfectly normal." Peter interrupted, watching his dad give out a relieved sigh. He chuckled to himself and carefully sat up in his designated Medbay bed. He's been there enough times that it's technically his.
"Good. I just had to make sure." Tony responded, chuckling himself before helping his son up.

Peter was kidnapped. Again. He'll need to ask Friday what his record is at once he gets back home. He could feel his tracker working, though. It was warmer than normal because it must be working around signal blockers. It's designed to work through or around signal blockers while still being completely hidden. Peter liked the feeling it gave him when it warmed up. It made him feel much safer when he had to take the brunt of punches from his kidnappers.
But it worked. He went home the next day to learn that his record was at 100 now. 100 kidnappings in a year. He should celebrate.

A/N 929 words. What do you think? Good? I hope so. I've been in enough English and Literature classes that this should be good.
