"I was just about to do my jump serve when..."

Kageyama POV:

I was visibly shocked but not in a bad way in what my first friend/teammate just said to me.  My mind starts to wander but I have just one question inside, "How did it get to this point?"

3rd person POV:
Kageyama was barely exciting for getting into a high school and this was due to the fact that his application to Shiratorizawa  was rejected.  He knew that the true reason for this was due to what happened during middle school.  One thing that no one knew about Kageyama was that he tended to get nightmares about how isolated he felt when no one was there to hit the sets that he tossed during the middle school game. 

Since tomorrow was going to be his first day at Karasuno High School, being himself he decided to make sure to wake up early and check out if the school had a volleyball club.  Kageyama is typically known as an early bird so he does tend to wake up early without feeling any tiredness.

~~The next day~~

I decided to wake up early today since I wanted to check out Karasuno before it gets crowded with all the new people joining as first year students. The time on my alarm clock read 5:00 a.m even though I knew I was exaggerating by waking up this early I couldn't risk not signing up to a club that might pique my interest. I got up and went to take a shower, I grabbed underwear, a pants, and a shirt. I usually take cold showers but since it's early I decided on a hot one.

~~25 minutes later~~

I already finished getting ready so I grabbed my backpack and duffel bag which had my red uniform that were more like a pair of sweatpants and sweatshirt. Even if there is a slim chance that they don't have a volleyball club what's the harm in bringing my sweats. Grabbing my phone and looking at the time I decided that I should start heading out. I grabbed my house keys and double checked to make sure I didn't forget anything. I locked the door checked the time as it read 5:35 a.m. I'm a fast runner but I felt like walking today so I took the 30 minute walk to school.

~~30 minutes later~~

I had just arrived at Karusuno High School in Miyagi Prefecture and to be honest it's pretty nice. It was almost 6:00 a.m so I decided to head to the office to ask if the gym was open in order to get some practice serves.

I was doing really good with practicing my serves, but then something unexpected happened I was interrupted right in the middle of doing my jump serve by a voice that sounded familiar saying "why are you here," I then proceeded to turn around and then saw that kid from my middle school tournament.
