"YOU FILTHY BLOOD TRAITOR!!!!!! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!!!" Mrs. Black screamed at the young boy. She was standing in the hall facing Sirius Black, a boy who was sick and tired of his family. When he was younger, he and his brother, Regulus, would always be together...Talking, laughing, playing.... Now it seemed those days were over.

Regulus Black was standing behind his mother glaring at Sirius. Everyone thought he was the best child. The most obedeant. The child to be proud of. He knew they expected great things from him.

"FINE! I'LL LEAVE THEN!! I don't know who ever WOULD want to stay in this blasted place anyway!"  And Sirius left, muttering to himself.

"Well. Good Riddance! That boy has no place in MY home!" Mrs. Black screamed.

Regulus watched as his older brother ran away. This time, he was sure of it...His brother would never come back. "Um...Hey mother?"   "Yes, yes. What stupid thing do you have to say now?" She spat. "Are you going to run away now too? Going to go join that group of garbage?" "No. N-nevermind. " He muttered under his breath.  "Well go on! Get out of here! I don't want to see anyone right now!" She sneered.

Regulus exited the room...once out of earshot he bolted to his room. And hid under the covers of his bed to cry. No one knew that he still loved his brother. He was also scared...There was no one to be there. He had no friends now. It was just him.

Meanwhile, a few blocks down, in pouring rain, Sirius was sprinting away from that godforsaken house. He wanted to go somewhere. Anywhere but there. He was never going back. Not for all the Galleons in London.

I know...James! His parents are always welcoming! They'll understand!   Sirius's thoughts were rushing. Then suddenly the big triple decker bus known as the knight bus appeared in front of him.

"Need a lift, lad?" The man asked. "Y-yes please." Sirius shudered. It was freezing. "Where to?" "The Potter's house, please."  "Alright, hop on. I'll get yer luggage." The man smiled and Sirius climbed on. The beds were just freshly changed and warm from the wash. Sirius climbed into one and fell asleep...

You filthy brat! BLOOD TRAITOR!!!! UNGRATEFUL SLOBS!! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!!!!! Regulus was staring at Sirius...with almost a...a look of sadness? Could it-

"Oi! Wake up!" The man said, shaking Sirius. "You've arrived at your destination." Already? Sirius thought. "Here ya go! The man gave Sirius his luggage. "Have a nice night!" He gave a warm smile. "Thanks. You to!" Sirius replied.

The bus vanished and Sirius could hear the screeching of tires as it left. He looked around at that warm and welcoming house. The lights were on. He never felt so grateful in his life.

Sirius walked up to their doorstep. For the first time that summer, there was a smile on his face, and a happy feeling inside him. He heard the voice of one of his best friends. He rang the doorbell. Mrs. Potter appeared at the door moments later. "Oh, Goodness! Mr. Black! What happened sweetheart? Come in, Please. James! Sirius is here! Don't worry dear. You can tell us what that raging psycho did this time, once we've fixed you up and you've had dinner. Good thing I made Chicken noodle soup tonight! I know you like that.  James. Take him to go dry off and get changed into some warm clothes."

" Hi Pads!" James smiled as he escorted Sirius upstairs. James went into his closet and picked out some sweatpants and a comfy sweatshirt for Sirius to wear. "What happened this time?" James asked in a calm tone. This always happened over the summer... But never this early into their break. "Mum kicked me out....More like I ran away actually. I'm never going back there again."  "What about Regulus? Did he stick up for you at all? I thought he was on your side?"  "I don't know...I thought he was."

They climbed down the stairs and entered the dining room. "Here you go sweetie." Mrs. Black set a bowl of the soup down in front of Sirius. He thanked her and started eating while James told her what happened.

"Oh, sweetheart. You can stay here as long as you need. You don't ever have to go back there." She said with a smile and left the room to go clean the parlor.

He was sleeping in the spare room that Mrs. Black said he could have. He couldn't sleep. He was recalling all those memories with Regulus. He missed his brother. He was scared for him. What if since he left, Mrs. Black was torturing Regulus instead? It was another sleepless night for Sirius. He couldn't help but worry for his little brother.

There wasn't any going back. He thought. I'm never going back.

And meanwhile on the other side of London... He's never coming back, I know it! Regulus was thinking as he was pulling out some paper and a quill. Oh, nevermind... Sirius won't want to talk to me now... He thinks I was ok with him leaving. Regulus said to himself as he shoved the paper and quill back into the drawer.

....He's gone.
