why do we need a scientist to prove my love for you, when i can show it?

𝚠𝚑𝚢 𝚍𝚘 𝚠𝚎 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚊 𝚜𝚌𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚜𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚖𝚢 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚢𝚘𝚞, 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚒 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝚒𝚝?

⁂ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ᴏɴᴇ⁂

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏.𝐎.𝐕----➪ After our performance for our new song, Scientist, all the members including me went backstage.
We cooled down, talked a bit.
Drank water, and turned around to look for Momo, and damn. I never realized how attractive she was.

Her lips look so beautiful and soft, they look kissable. No, what am I thinking?  She's my best friend, no I can't fall in love with her.
I've never felt so guilty, I mean- it's love.
How is she effortlessly stunning?

But, how will I know it's love? I've never felt like this before.
I was gazing at her for so long, when I heard her say, "Chae, why are you staring at me? It's time to go home!"
"Oh, sorry let's go!"

𝑴𝒐𝒎𝒐 𝑷.𝑶.𝑽----➪ I was drinking water, and to my surprise, I saw Chaeyoung look at me for so long. I was wondering why, when suddenly I felt a feeling in my stomach.

Is this the definition of "butterflies in my stomach?" Her tattoos, her beautiful pink lips, her makeup and her hair.

She looked so beautiful. Why didn't I realize this before? Wait, but we're best friends. What if she's not into me, the same way I am? I need to hide my feelings for her.

When all the members left, she was still looking at me, which was really odd.
So I shouted at her, "Chae, why are you staring at me? It's time to go home!"

She answered, so we finally went into the car and stayed seated in silence.
Why was she not talking to me?

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏.𝐎.𝐕----➪ We arrived at our home and unpacked our bags.
I went into the bathroom and took a shower while playing " 𝗘𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗯𝘆 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗸."

"You are the cause of my euphoria." I sang, until I heard someone knock on the door.

It was Momo. Oh no, that feeling again, it hurts, because I don't know if she feels the same.

Shit, I might not even confess to her.

She knocked again while saying, "Chaeyoung, when are getting done yet? I wanna shower as well."

I replied saying, "I'm almost done!"

Momo said, "Well hurry the f*ck up!" While laughing.

I turned off the water and ran out of there with a towel.

𝑴𝒐𝒎𝒐 𝑷.𝑶.𝑽----➪ I saw Chaeyoung running out of the bathroom with a towel. She looked so hot. Okay, I need to stop thinking like this.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏.𝐎.𝐕----➪ I ran into the bedroom, looked for my pyjamas and sat down at my desk.
I turned on my computer and started searching up, "How do you know when you have fallen in love with your best friend?"

I never got far, but I decided to write my feelings down in my journal.

After writing that small little piece, I turned off my computer off and went to bed.

Before sleeping, I said "Does Momo love me like I love her? Does she have the same feelings for me as well?"

Not realising someone had walked into the room before falling asleep.
