Merry was doing her best to be quiet as she slowly rolled from corner to corner in the Museum. She had just snuck in and she was quite pound of herself but this was no time for celebration. There could be guards at every square inch of this place and she wasn't one to take chances. Her plan was simple, scoot over to the mythical artefact section as quickly as possible while staying undetected, find the coolest thing there, get out of there and finally get tons of friends. Her plan was fool-proof! Nothing could go wrong. Except of course...
CRASH!
Merry heard a massive crash at the entrance of the Museum, like a window breaking or the crash of thunder and lightning. Admittedly, she was mildly curious as to what could make such a noise but she had no time for detours. This "mission" was very important and... Well maybe just one quick look couldn't hurt anyone, certainly not Merry. She rolled over to the entrance of the Museum and ducked behind a pillar. As she looked over to the scene the first thing she noticed was the large amount of broken glass on the floor and the absence of a window where a window should be. Merry frowned in disappointment. She had really hoped it was some attack of the gods or maybe a gigantic Kraken on the loose! But reality was much dimmer and more boring than Mythology, something Merry knew very well. However, something else quickly shifted her attention and interest. "My name is Giovanni Potage and we're the Bonzai Blasters! We're here to rob you blind!" No, the fact that they were robbers wasn't interesting, nor was it the infamous group "Bonzai Blasters" that caught her attention. It was the boy who called himself Giovanni Potage. She couldn't take her eyes off him. He couldn't have been no more than a year older than her but he oozed charisma and coolness! His golden yellow outfit, his fire coloured hair, his striking scraff-thingy. All of it screamed cool. Merry instantly knew, or assumed, that she would be great friends with this Giovanni fellow. It took her a second to concentrate on anything else, but there were others outside of Giovanni. Notably there was a young looking girl, who looked just adorable. There was also a catlecade of guys dressed in a similar attire to Giovanni, clearly his henchmen.
Before she could say or do anything, Giovanni tied up the little girl in a chair with some duck tape, leaving her guarded with three of his men. Then he and his other three henchmen walked off chanting "Evil! Evil! Evil!" Merry was very confused. Giovanni couldn't be "Evil"! I mean sure he ran off chanting "Evil!" and he strapped a little girl to a chair but surely he has his reasons. Regardless of his reasons and how cool he may or may not be she couldn't just leave that poor girl left with those brutes! So when she has made sure Giovanni had gone she prepped herself for the most difficult challenge she has faced in years. Social interaction. Merry rolled over to them at a steady pace, "Hey guys! How's it hanging." All four of them stared at her for a good 10 seconds as she slowly approached them until one of them broke the silence, "Wah! Hey!," he turned to his comrades "guys she's like, an enemy right? We should restrain her right?" One of them chipped in, "I don't know Car Crash, she seems pretty harmless but maybe we should tie her up just to make sure." and finally the last one "C'mon guys lets get her!" Without Merry doing pretty much anything she had done the opposite of her goal and made enemies. "Don't be like that guys, we can be friends," Merry said awkwardly "right after you let her go!" Merrys tone and vibe changed in a instant from shy teen to powerful foe as she yelled "THOR'S MIGHT!" as bundles of dark grey clouds formed above them. All three of them looked up in unison, all saying "Aw, crap" as a volley of lightning hit all three of them at once, leaving them knocked out on the ground, charcoal. Merry then quickly rolled over to the little girl and started untying the duck tape and for the first time she heard the little girl speak, "Wow! That was amazing, thank you so much!" This was the first time anyone had showed Merry any kind of gratitude and it made her very happy. "Aw, it was no biggie. My names Merry Monlow, what's yours?" The little girl returned a kind smile and said "Molly, Molly Blyndeff. Nice to meet you miss Monlow" Merry started crying. She couldn't believe it. Not only had she thanked her but she referred to her as "Miss Monlow." She couldn't help herself, she said it "CAN WE BE FRIENDS MOLLY?" "Sure." That was the final blow, Merry had gotten much more than an artefact out of this trip, she gained her first friend.
