Chapter Zero-Background

Dear new Diary,

Sense you are my new diary documenting my junior year of high school, I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself so we can get to know each other! First off I am not delusional but it I guess I kind of seem like it sense I'm talking to you like your a real person...:/. LOL

Anyways, my name is Y/n L/n. I have super long strawberry blonde hair (it almost drags on the ground) and two different colored eyes! It's like super rare. I'm a little self conscious about them though so I cover my face with my hair. I hear people gossiping about me saying I'm a banshee or wondering if I can even see. Which I can. One of my eyes are bright pink and the other is dark purple with a blue pupil. My parents tell me the look ugly so I never show them.

I'm very smart too. All of my classes are AP or honors. My teachers notice all my hard work and talked to my counselor about it so I don't even have to do gym! I'm signed up for a study hall for eighth hour but I'm such a good worker I doubt I'll even need it all that much.

Even though I'm a junior in high school I am a little on the short side at 3 feet and 9 inches. Surprisingly enough though I never get made fun of for it though! Everyone always says how cute I am :)! It makes me soooooo happy! In my freshmen and sophomore years the upperclassman guys would pick me up and spin me around, it made me feel so happy, but that made everyone else hate me saying I was a pick me and stuff? Like no. Ew. The upperclassman would always protect me though. Last year the last of them graduated so now I have no one to protect me. Except for my best friend Keighleigh. She is super pretty with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes that look just like the ocean. We've been best friends sense elementary school. She is the only person besides my parents who have seen my eyes. Keighleigh is my only friend so I rely on her a lot. I couldn't live without her but I feel like I'm holding her back from her life. Whenever she isn't with me or at school she is playing volleyball or basketball. It is her choice though I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if she dropped me :(.

My parents don't like me very much. My dad is always working and my mom is always going out with her friends or drunk on expensive wines. They always tell me I'm a mistake so they bought me my own penthouse to live in until I'm out of high school. They say I have to keep good grades, be a good student and be a good catholic to keep my penthouse. I can guarantee all three especially the third sense no one left in my school likes me at all :/.
