The Case (A BNHA/MHA Original story.)

The Story

-Prologue-

Two officers were called over to a house, the neighbors had reported screaming and much more activities going on inside of the building. The officers knocked on the door, although with no answer. Officer Benjamin, the taller of the two, took a look around and tried to look into several windows without success. With nothing further the duo could do, they left to collect a search warrant. Shortly later, the two officers along with backup arrived. There was an ambulance on standby just in case there was someone injured inside. Officer Benjamin knocked at the door again, but yet still no answer. Soon enough he finally decided to kick the door open, everything was pitch black inside. No window, door, or light was open nor on. The officers covered their faces upon the foul and hideous smell that crossed their noses. Quickly, they called in for their backup, and allowed them to take over until detectives would arrive to fully look over the scene found inside. 

The scene ahead of the two officers was quite the mess. There was blood splattered across the walls of the room and across the floor soaking the once shiny white carpet. The body of the young boy murdered had already been hauled away from the scene, now all was left was to examine the evidence. Officer Benjamin had lead the detectives to the scene, and allowed them to look over and analyze what they thought could've happened to the boy they had found previously. "Officer Benjamin, did you find any ID on who the victim was?" One of the detectives asked, to which, Officer Benjamin gave him the ID. "Yes, this young man here. We found it in his pocket." The look on the detective's face was one with full shock..and would only give one true suspect in mind.

- Story -

Ame Haruka was a fresh out of college graduate, coming into the career of "Pro hero". Although, as he had expected to become a pro straight out of college, he was now seen as a side-kick to another pro hero named Ryugi Hysai. Ame had bought an apartment with the help of his land-lord giving him a deal. His new room-mate being Adabelle Rue, a senior in art school. Adabelle was quite laid-back and funny, which Ame admired for when he came home very late at night and disturbed her sleep. Today, was no different. Ame was preparing to leave for work. "Ame, make sure to grab your lunch..wouldn't want you to have to run home and miss your lunch break again." Adabelle called, to which Ame sighed with relief. "Thank you for reminding me, Adabelle!" Ame quickly finished grabbing his things, giving Adabelle a quick hug good bye before rushing out the door for work. 

Ame arrived at work, getting changed into his hero costume. He put up his things, and walked to his colleagues office. Ryugi was reading a report sent in, but looked up to greet Ame. "Good morning, Haruka. We've got a new case! I think you'll be a great addition to the team for it." Ryugi said to him. Ame gave a short nod to his superior, "I'll do my best to make you proud!" Ame bowed. Ryugi gave a gentle smile to him. "Alright then, dismissed. The files are on your desk, you can ask anyone for help. Although the police said to work closely with them this case." Ryugi said his chin in his palm. Ame nodded, he turned and walked out the door, back towards his own desk. 

As another week passed, Ame had learned quite a bit about his victim. They were a tall man, approximately 47, with brunette hair. Ame had finished looking into his work to see if he missed any work, and he had. So they had a set date of approximately when he was killed. Ame was returning home from work, today he had been to the crime scene to see if there was anything out of the ordinary that he could see. Ame opened the front door, going inside and looking around. Adabelle wasn't home yet. Ame went to the kitchen, setting down his things. After fixing himself something to eat he began looking more into the case itself. Generally, who would have wanted to kill the man, who would be good to interview first, who's a possible suspect, etc. 

Soon, Adabelle returned home. She took off her jacket by the front door and walked to the kitchen, where she found Ame face down at the table asleep. Adabelle smiled at the young boy, before walking over and gently shaking him. "Ame, wake up. You need to go to your actual bed. You do have work in the morning afterall." Adabelle said, although her tone of voice was soft. Ame gave a small nod to her. "Thank you, Adabelle. How was school?" Adabelle was beginning to cook herself something to eat. "Oh it was good. We had a fun day today." She replied with a enthusiastic tone. Ame smiled some. "I'm glad you didn't have too much to do." Ame stared at the girls back for several moments "Ah..Adabelle? I have a question." Adabelle turned to him "Yes, Ame?" Ame fidgetted with his fingers, looking up at her "I wanted to ask you if you would like to be my girlfriend." To which, Adabelle quickly agreed. Soon enough, Ame said, "Well, I'll be going to bed. Good night, Adabelle." Ame stood up walking down the hall to his own room, to which Adabelle told him good night before going to bed herself.

The next day, Ame had just arrived at work to see Ryugi waiting for him. "Good morning, Haruka. We've got a suspect! It's a villain under the name of Adabelle. We need to find her, as her location is unknown. With your abilities, I'm sure you can find her!" Ryugi looked pleased, although. Ame looked a bit nervous. "Yes sir." Ame said in reply, soon turning and walking right back out of the agency. Ame went straight home, holding tightly onto the picture Ryugi had given him before he had left. Ame looked nervous, and stressed. He went in the house looking around, to which Adabelle looked up at him confused. "Adabelle, is it..true? you murdered that man. And you're a villain?" Ame looked distraught. Adabelle simply sighed. "Yes Ame, it is true." Ame sat down holding his head. "We can't let them find you, Adabelle! You could be killed!" Ame was almost screaming from how horrified he was. Adabelle grabbed his hands. "Don't worry..we'll be fine." 

Soon enough, Ryugi and the police force did catch on. And they soon started searching for Ame and Adabelle. They had fled their apartment in hopes that the police wouldn't catch up to them. A neighbor to their new residence hadn't seemed to notice their neighbors were Ame and Adabelle. The neighbor over the last several weeks had become quite friendly with the two, even inviting them over occasionally to hang out. One night however, there was several gunshots and screams. The neighbors quickly called 911 and the officers were called, and Ryugi was alerted.

The two officers walked up to the scene, Officer Benjamin and Yuki. The two spoke with several of the neighbors and other officers for more information before going in. They then went inside and came upon the murder scene. The boy, with blue hair had been killed before the ambulance arrived. There was blood decorating every wall and all over the floor. The murder weapon was missing from the scene, and the murderer was not present. Yuki, gave his friend the ID to look at. 

"Ame Haruka, Ryugi's sidekick."
