"Could you describe the incident to me, Ray?" The extravagant woman asked, "If you really are the Key Wielder, it could really help our situation."
"I was hunted down by a really tall lady. She had to be at least eight or so feet." The tall girl replied, "She started chasing me down, rambling on about looking for a heart. She stabbed me in the chest and ripped a key out of my chest."
"It must be you, then. As the prophecy states, you will be the one who will stop the curse of this generation. Given that you find the Locket Wielder, of course."
"So my powers are useless unless I find my partner?" Ray frowned, "You really had me excited, Merlin."
"You did mention that the night before the incident, you had a dream about finding the key in a field of roses. Did you happen to find out any other information?"
"Yes. I heard a voice saying that my partner is at White Castle. It's a very large school in the nonmagical world."
"Then that is where you must go. Getting into the school might be a hassle, but it's nothing that hasn't been done before."
"And what of the princess? Should I return here once I have my partner? Then, we can break her curse"
"No," Merlin shook her head, "Your powers will take some time to grow stronger. Right now, you need to stay where your partner is so that you can both develop your powers"
Ray nodded her head, "I will prepare to leave as soon as possible. It may take a few months, but I'm sure that I can find some way to get into the school."
"We have already prepared for that. For now, you should prepare to leave."
Ray nodded, "Thank you. I'm glad that you were able to give me some closure about this whole situation"
"Be careful with that key, Ray," Merlin laid her hand on Ray's shoulder, "It is your new heart, after all. Damaging that key could be fatal."
"I suppose I should warn my partner of this too."
"I wish you luck," Merlin smiled, watching Ray leave the room.
