Backstory?

Y/N was an alchemist in Monstadt, born from the warm winds and bred from knowledge, proceeding to become the Head Alchemist for the Knights of Favonius as an adult. Another alchemist, named Albedo, was their apprentice. Their wits and knowledge together made them the ultimate duo. Lots of people thought that the two were dating, almost. This however, angered many people who wanted to capture the heart of the alchemists. One specific one, the Cavalry Captain, was Y/N's enemy. The two despised each other, no matter who tried to make them get along with one another. It was like the archons wanted this.

Albedo used to be so fricking soft, a baby almost, but he could still fight! Y/N taught him, with the use of a secret dendro vision. Anyway, Kaeya had enough bickering with the Head Alchemist, and hired someone to impersonate her little apprentice to get her out of the town for a while to ruin her things. It worked, yes, but not in the way expected. It was meant to be a small prank to teach them a lesson. Yet, after that day of heartbreak, Y/N was never seen again. Albedo hated Kaeya for that, he changed after that. No longer the sweet apprentice, but he now was stoic. The loss of a family figure broke Albedo.. It didn't help, they even made him the Head Alchemist to make him feel a bit better, but he never went back again.

Little did any of the Monstadtians know, Y/N just wanted to go fishing- Their boat capsized in a storm that they accidentally drifted into, leaving them with their Dendro vision and a plank to survive against the harsh electric seas. They passed out, thinking that it was the end for them, but they awoke to being stared at by a more humanoid oni. He took them in, and the two have been partners in crime ever since.

Now, Y/N's life is pretty much new every day. It may be an unorganized pattern of boring, exciting, or traumatizing, but it beats Monstadt's daily routine. They were a known 'criminal' in Inazuma, more known and respected than as a Knight-Alchemist in Monstadt..
