April's POV
Shawn Mendes is standing in front of me. Smiling at me. I mean of course I know who he is, who doesn't?!
No April you need to play it cool. He's just some stupid boy. All boys are stupid.
"Ummm Hi I'm April." I said flashing a quick smile and then opening up my phone. He awkwardly sat down next to me.
I decided to plug in my earphones and listen to music. I put on the song 'Often' by the Weeknd.
I started singing along when Shawn tapped me on the shoulder. "Um sorry to bother you but you didn't plug your headphones in all the way and your music is playing out loud." He said slightly laughing.
I turned bright red. The song was super sexual and I was singing along to all of the words. I looked around me and saw that parents were giving me death glares.
"Oh my god that's so embarrassing." I said putting my head down and blushing even deeper. "Aww your so cute when you blush." He said teasingly. "Oh shut up." I joked.
"So April. Tell me about yourself." He said smiling.
And that's what started it, I guess. We asked each other questions nonstop for three hours, just getting to know each other.
"So um I know that you are here with your mom and everything but my friend Matt is having a party at his house tonight. Do you think you could come?" Shawn asked nervously.
I quickly texted my mom and told her I was invited to a party by an old friend from camp and of course she said I could go, my mom lets me do anything. It's weird, I don't feel bad about lying to my mom.
"She said I could go." I said happily. I gave Shawn my hotel and he said he would meet me in the lobby at 8 and then bring me to the party.
After our plane landed, my mom and I got to out hotel and I unpacked my things and I changed my outfit (picture at the start of the chapter).
I adjusted my hair and makeup and sprayed perfume on my chest. Why was I trying so hard? Did I like Shawn? No I just met him and I will probably never see him again.
My thoughts were interrupted by a text from Shawn telling me he was in the lobby. Here we go.
A/N: Someone please tell me they are seeing Shawn on June 7th. I want to meet you all so badly 😭
