A few hours later

She smiled and shook her hand "Yes, but I feel worried for my daddy because usually, he's always passing out after work and never comes up to my things! and I really need him to come to my dance performance it would mean a lot for me.." the girl spoke while on the verge of tears "I'll tell you what, I brought this adorable puppy calendar and mark the days off alright?
whens your performance cute one?" She said as she put the calendar up on the fridge "December 24 on Christmas eve!" Oh, wonderful! After a few days of them hanging out and it's December 19 the two got along well and the daughter and father spent days crossing out the days and the father stopped drinking so he could be early for his daughter's dance performance.
December 24 The day of the Dance performance
"Sweetie, are you scared your dad might not attend?" the teacher says and smiles gently.
well yes, My dad never comes but he's trying his best so I hope he comes!" The music starts to play and curtains start to rain down "Give it you're best shot!."
