The Devils Flower

The beginning

There once was two creatures, one demon, one angel.
The demon loved the angel with all of its heart no matter what.
The angel was hurt by the demon so the angel would show its love for the demon in a different light.
The angel and the demon talked daily, for hours even, just enjoying the company.
Then came another creature, not sure of the species.
The angel immediately fell for the other creature, speaking to them and about them.
Lovingly even.
The demon enjoyed seeing the angel so happy.
The demon tried it's best to be close to the angel again.
The demon tried everything in his power.
But the angel seemed to only fall more for the other creature.
The demon hid his feelings of hurt and sorrow and smiled and tried to be happy with the newfound changes.
The demon had huge insecurities and was afraid the angel would forget about him.
Eventually the creature had a cage made to prevent the demon from getting inside.
There they sat, day after day.
Getting closer
Loving eachother
Slowly
The demon watched from the outside hoping for a sign that not all is lost.
The angel stepped away from the creature and went to the bars of the cage at times
Reaching out
They held hands
If only for a brief moment in the day, the demon was happy
The angel would always run back to the creature although
Sometimes run back to the bars spouting out how great the creature was
The demon smiled and nodded
The words slowly crushing him
Whenever the angel would become down and upset
The demon would be there
Loving the angel
The demons love grew and grew like it always had since the beginning
The demon would not give up on the angel
For his love and care
Was much more than he led on
