2 day before Thanksgiving

He smiled. Saw my parents impressed

Dad: You know korean?

Justin: Sorta watched lots of Kdramas

He smiled. My parents nodded

Darren: Hi sorry to interrupt the family reunion but my mom asking if I landed and i need to get home.

Dad: Oh sorry. We'll take you now. Come on guys

We all went in the car and drove off to drop off Darren. He's being really off tho, he usually makes fun of us or joke around but why not now?

Mom: Darren would like to have lunch with us?

Darren: So sorry Miss but my mom already made plans with me

Mom: Ok i understand no worries. We're almost at your house.

Darren nodded. Me and Justin really think something bothering him.

Dad: we are here. Nice seeing you again Darren

Darren: You too Happy Thanksgiving. Bye Y/n and Justin.

He grabbed his things and closed the door.

Mom: Well he's kind

Dad: a very nice boy. What ethnicity is he Y/n?

Y/n: Um Chinese

It was quiet drive back to my house. When we finally made it i was jumped by my puppy

Y/n: Ah Kooky oh how much i missed you

Justin: Kooky?

Justin asked confused

Y/n: I got him when Jungkook was my ult bias ok.

He just chuckled. Then i smelled great food.

Mom: Y/n Appa made your favorite

I squealed and ran to the kitchen.

Y/n: Ah Home-made Korean BBQ

My dad came in and chuckled

Dad: Yup and meat ready to be cooked. Lemme go grill it. Justin can you help me?

Y/n: NO That's our thing Appa

I pouted, Im Daddy's Little Girl if you can tell

Mom: Y/n-ah can help Appa and Justin can help me make Japchae ok?

I nodded i went out with my dad and helped him cook.

Justin pov

What a child she is. Its adorable

Mom: Ok Justin put on a apron your about to learn my secret to great Japchae.

I put it on and helped Mrs.Lin gathering the ingredients.

Justin: Want me to cut the carrots?

She nodded with a smile.

Mom: So Justin, what do you think of Y/n so far?

I smiled when she asked me

Justin: She's such an amazing girl. Makes people laugh and always bring goodness with her everywhere, Im very lucky to have her.

Mom: Ah so great to hear that. No offense I love her to death but pain in our asses sometimes

I laughed hearing that from her own mom, she laughed along

Justin: She's like that sometimes especially with Darren

Mom: But she always earns a laugh from me.

She smiled.

Mom: Justin Im so glad she has you, Before she felt alone and unhappy and now i see her, I finally see my little girl smile again

She said looking at her from the window. I smiled seeing her laughing with her dad

Justin: As long as she's happy and her family happy, Im joyful

Y/n pov

Dad: Y/n how is Justin treating you

I looked up while grilling the Galbi

Y/n: Amazing Dad. He's the greatest thing that happened to me

He nodded

Dad: But don't forget your family here too.

I giggled and hugged him

Y/n: I know I know Dad

I gave him a kiss on the cheek

Dad: Ah yah your gonna burn the Galbi.

30 mins later. We all sat down at the table and had a whole bunch of food there. We digged in and absolutely loved it

Justin: Damn this good

Y/n: Ofcouse it is i made it

I laughed as everyone tagged along. Then it got quiet

Mom: Um Y/n, I love Justin he's a great guy.

Dad: And i barely talk to him but if your mom approves I approve

I smiled wrapping my arm around Justin's

Mom: But um Sorry Justin but went you went to the restroom you left your wallet

Y/n: DID YOU TAKE HIS MONEY?

I asked shockingly

Mom: No no Y/n. I looked at his Id and um Justin how old was she when yall met?

Justin: 18 she told me her birthday was a week before we met

She nodded disappointed

Y/n: What mom?

I asked being scared

Mom: Your 20 Justin

Dad: WAIT WHAT?

Y/n:Ummm is that bad

Mom: Y/n 2 years older

Y/n: And? He treats me right and loves me isn't that enough?

They went silent

Justin: I know its a kinda big age gap, But will respect her and take of her,  Please let me show you.

He sounded so desperate, he really wants my parents approval, its sweet, they sighed

Dad: Please take care of her.

They then shook hands. Well one family approval, now how's Justin's family?
