I flopped on my bed and rolled over, today was a long one. I didn't really have anything to do today so I picked up my phone and checked my notifications, and to my suprise I have a text message from a unknown number. Not many people have my number except for my friends Ponk, sam, Callahan and of course sapnap my parents have my number but they wouldn't text me. After a few minutes I decided to look at it.

Unknown: hello!

George: hi who is this?

Unknown: oh yeah it's karl

George: oh hey karl did sapnap give you my number?

Karl: ya hope you don't mind

Karl: just wanted to have your number just in case

George: kk

I put my phone on my nightstand and turned on the tv "hmmm what to watch?" I pondered I flipped threw the channels for something to put on after about 15 minutes I decided on bed nobs and broomsticks. I watched about 45 minutes of it until I burrowed under my blanket and pulled my mushroom plushies to my chest and drifted off into sleep.

When I finally woke up  it was dark out side and my house was pitch black. I sat up and listened to the rain hit my roof, it was coming down hard,  as the wind howled outside. I got up and walked over to were the light switch was and flicked it.

Fuck the powers out again.

The power goes out all the time because of how old and crappy the house is. I let out a sigh to myself as I made my way to the bed, putting my hands out in front of me just so I don't fall and snap my neck. After a few minutes of me feeling around my bed, and hearing the patter of the rain, I found my phone. I turned it on and used the flashlight on it to make my way down stairs. The only good things about this house is that it might have secrets tunnels/rooms. and it has a generator in the basement. The basement.. I have never been one for basements they creep me out, and ya I know that might be silly that I'm in high school and still scared of basement, but whatever.  I creeped down stairs. So to explain there's a big open room and four rooms off to the side all the doors are locked tho, but then again I  don't have any interest in finding out what's in there, let alone by myself in the dark. I crept across the cold dark concrete floor and  finally I got to the corner of the room to the generator and started to turn it on then,

bump.

what in God's name was that!? It couldn't be my parents their not home and if they were the sure as hell wouldn't be in the basement!

After what felt like a hour I finally got that stupid thing working

Buzz

The generator kicked on the room filled with a dull light, just  barely bright enough to cover the room in light, which was still a improvement to stumbling in the dark.  I looked around frantically darting my eyes around the room looking for something, anything out of place but I didn't see anything, At first at least as I was walking up the stairs I felt like I needed to turn around, so I did and froze in my place fear on my face. The door farthest from me was opened a crack, darkness peeking out from behind the door. Fill with panic I sprinted up the stairs and slammed the basement door shut, and promptly locked all three locks. What can I say I don't like basements. The next thing I did was run to my room and call sapnap

I decided to call  sam

Andd he's not answering ether, he might be a sleep  I mean ya it's only 9:18 but you never know especially when it comes to Sam's sleeping schedule.

Then I get a idea

George:  hey Callahan you up?

3 minutes pass by

Callahan: ya George what's up?

George: dude I'm freaking out!

Callahan: did the power go out again?

George: ya but when I was turning on the generator there was a noise, one of the doors was open a crack and it wasn't like that last time I was down there!!

Callahan: are you sure?

George: I'm I sure it was closed?

Callahan: ya

George: yeah I'm fucking sure they've been locked since my family has moved in!

George: and I'm not yelling at you callahan I'm just freaking the hell out

Callahan: no,no I get that.

Callahan: did you shut it?

George: the door?

Callahan: ya

George: I don't think so. . .

With that I gathered all of my courage and walked to the locked door and slowly unlocked it and
