"You're cool and I like you. I also think it's really cool that you've practised hard enough to make it here. So, see you at the inter-high." With the loose sheets in your hand you encountered the coach and he requested that you take them to the destination he named. Hoshiumi watched you make your way to the loud doors and exist. He thought you were cool too.

It was two hours before leaving time and you were tasked with one more chore for the day.

"Thanks for helping me with this last batch, Atsumu. I thought you'd want to rest since you just finished a game. It's really appreciated though. You can rest them over there." you directed him and he laid the linens down. He stayed put while you loaded up the washers. You moved around the space to collect all that was needed to be washed along with the towels like pillowcases and sheets. You've been making runs all day, your feet working the hardest but you still put all of your effort into what you were tasked with. Even if it was getting a drink for someone who wasn't a part of the training camp. After loading up the machine, it took ten minutes and Atsumu little rants of his team, you turned to him.

"Is it okay that I get you a drink as a thank you? Then you can go back to the gym. I'll be right back." you made a dash to the vending machine and chose a drink for you and the confident lad. 'I shoulda ask him what he'd like to drink. Too late now. I'll get him... the orange carrot juice. I'll get me... strawberry or banana? I'm always getting banana, I'll have strawberry this time. It still gonna be super tasty anyways.' You pressed the button for orange & carrot juice and strawberry milk and returned to the laundry room when they were in your clutch.

You found Atsumu playing with the buttons of an unused washing machine and announced your presence. "I'm here, and I bought the drinks." Before you got to hand him the orange juice, he grasped the milk you desired and thanked you.

"I was worried about you getting me something I didn't like, but you bought one of my favourite drinks. I knew you were cool." and he sipped some. You tried your best not to show the heartbreak on your face and nodded, trying to keep strong after your loss. While he hummed and drank his fruit milk, you gazed down at the mixed blend in your hand. 'At least I have juice. ಥ ͜ʖ ಥ'

To distract yourself from the awkward silence, you questioned Atsumu, least bit surprised you did it yourself, "How long have you been playing volleyball?" He perked up and blabbed immediately. "Since I was ten. Me and my brother went to a workshop and there was also a setter who played for Japan's national team. We also met someone cool who was foreign like you too. That's when I decided I wanted to become a setter and now I'm here." A hand on his hip when he ended.

'Wow, amazing life story. Don't know why he had to bring that up.' "So, you're telling me, that the reason you became a setter is because you thought that a foreigner, like me, was cool? Random, but okay." you nodded in mock understanding and he let out a sound as he corrected you.

"No! I meant the setter made me want to play setter and I thought the guy was cool. We attend the same school now and we're both in the team."

"Oh, that's good," you said with mild interest. More interested in the guy he's talking about, because you know, familiarity. "What position does he play on the team?"

"He's our school outside hitter and a wing spiker. He's also one of the top face aces in the nation." He revealed and smirked like he was one of the top aces in Japan. You registered what he said and in realization almost gave yourself whiplash to ask him, "What school do you attend again?"
