Jabez POV:
It's Monday, November 29th, 2021. I arrive at school and go straight to my biology class. I was kind of let down because it was our first day back from Thanksgiving break. I go leave my stuff in the classroom and go on my daily morning walk around the school with my friends Gabriel and Jonathan.
As we walk down to the 2nd-floor cafeteria for breakfast I saw Josh, the love of my life, we locked eyes and I got butterflies, I could feel the tension between us. I waved at him, all he did was say "hey".
I was honestly looking forward to today because it was a blue day which meant I got to have history class with Josh, every period I borrow one of his AirPods and we listen to music together, of his choice. As I snapped back to reality, I couldn't stop thinking about him.
As I was in line, Gabriel and Jonathan were talking about something I wasn't even paying attention to, all I could think about was him, he and his luscious ginger hair and the slides he wears everyday. I love his toes, the way you can see them through his Dri-Fit socks, and how they curl when he turns around. I was so ready for today and his Dri-Fit socks.
I couldn't wait till I got back to class to see him.
