Chapter 13

Ink sat in the kitchen drinking coffee, Gradient was learning how to crawl finally as he crawled over to Ink. Ink looked down at him as he smiled a lot "You are just so cute! You look just like Error." Ink smiled a lot, Gradient watched Ink as he sat on the ground. Ink was very happy that Gradient turned out to be a quiet baby, only cried if he was in pain, needing a change or hungry or just wants up. Ink got up and picked Gradient up, walking over to Error whom was on the couch on his phone "Hey Errrrror." He chuckled "Wanna go to Nightmares house for me to drop off baby clothes Gradient grew out of? Killer told me they needed more baby clothes for their little Crescent." He chuckled. Error shrugged "I dunno, maybe." He huffed smiling and got up, he grabbed the big ol tote of clothes and went out the front door "You better put that baby to bed soon, when I come home you're getting destroying." He smirked as Ink chuckled blushing a lot.

Error hummed and just opened Nightmares door, not giving a flying fuck to knock. Killer walked out of the kitchen "We could've been fucking!" Killer laughed maniacally. Error rolled his eyes "Yeah well I won't have the patience to hold this for your little playtime, where is Night?" Error huffed "With Dream for the day, Dream was bugging Nightmare to bond with him." Killer rolled his eyes laughing while holding their baby. "Nightmare hates that I bet." Error hummed and Killer nodded "He does!" Killer laughed again. Error rolled his eyes and left the house, walking away and then huffed and stopped at his footsteps.

"What do you want."

Error scoffed at Virus, his father. Virus smirked and came over "You're not set free, you're not allowed to have a happy ending, I never got one." He growled at Error. Error growled back "You can't just WAIT for someone to bring you happiness!! You can't wait for someone to bring you the happy ending you want! If you want a happy ending you have to do it by yourself!! You have to take responsibility for your own happiness dad!" Error yelled, he's never stood up to him before, Virus immediately went and punched Error, knocking him to the ground "Anytime I tried to bring happiness to myself, it became a disappointment!! I never asked to be a father! I never asked for such a lousy child! I can't believe we are even related! We are nothing alike! You are nothing just like your mother and just like your brothers! The only happiness I got from anything in this dumb life of mine, WAS your mother! But you kids came into the world and she went against me! She never was on my side after that! KILL YOURSELF!" Virus yelled at Error as Error panted heavily, watching his father in fear, the words that came out of him was all the truth and all so painful, Error blamed himself for a lot of things but he never considered it was his fault for their divorce as well. Error huffed and scoffed smirking and got up "It isn't my fault for your mistakes. You as a father and a partner should never make a mother choose between her lover or her children." Error told him off  "Me killing myself would never solve anything. It would just break the woman you loves heart even more." He walked away.

Error went home.

Error walked inside and sighed "God it feels like every time I walk out of this house, something wants to get in the way." He rolled his eyes and he went upstairs just to see Ink ready as he chuckled and pounced on Ink.

Error laid there staring at the ceiling, naked under the blankets with Ink asleep beside him. Error was thinking about his and his dads conversation, Error had grown so much, yet he still felt like shit, he didn't feel good, he wasn't... happy. Error sighed and shook Ink a bit to wake him. Ink groaned and woke up "Y-Yeah-?" He chuckled as Error stared at him for a minute, he then sighed "I want another." He told him as Ink was confused a bit "Another?" He tilted his head as he sat up. "Baby." Error told him as Ink gasped and smiled "OH MY GOSH!" Ink went and sat on him and they both kissed as Error wrapped his arms around Ink.

[A few months later]

After the chat with his father, Error has had yet another baby, Paperjam. Clearly Error hasn't picked the name but he had not even gave any names out for suggestions so they went with it. Ink chuckled and chased Gradient who was now walking, though he was clumsy. "Too fast for me oh no!" Ink laughed. Error hummed and fed PJ, well- tried anyway "Fuck why is this one more like me! He hits and refuses every single thing! Oh my god watch him be a biter!!" Error groaned as Ink chuckled "You wanted this!" Ink giggled a bit softly. Error smiled "I'm glad it did happen." He sighed as Ink sat next to Error "Is everything okay?" Ink frowned. Error smiled "Yeah, Just- gosh even as an adult, i'm still having to deal with the urge of just wanting to disappear, I wouldn't ever want to now of course, I just feel like some things are still out of place, like something is missing? Something that is important for me to be happy, to be comfortable finally." Error told Ink. Ink smiled "I'm, so proud of you, the Error I knew as a child was always pushed around or he pushed everyone around, in high school when you realized I came back, you hated it, you wanted me to die, at least I thought so. Until I found out that you were the one who felt the guilt, you wanted to die." Ink frowned "But i'm so happy you're here and everyone else is happy too, especially Geno." Ink smiled a lot "I'm so proud of you." Ink hugged Error as he hugged him back and then PJ slapped them as they laughed "You really don't like seeing affection or feeling it!" Error laughed and Ink did too.
