This story is a great story. I think would be a 3-1/2 paw, but the errors are extreme. Which does drop the story a whole point- 2-1/2.

I have been wondering if this book if this is a second language of someone who doesn't pay attention to homophones. This book has a bunch of these missteaks (mistakes- done on purpose) or just wrong words chosen. Normally I overlook it, but it is extreme distraction.

Stairs- stares Missteak- mistakes   Hymn- him
Porpoise- purpose   Rear- rare   Two- to or too
Wile- while Write- right   Canter- center
Pear/pare- pair   Threw- through Stake- steak

I am sure you have the idea by now, the type of mistakes I mean. Though story is extremely good. I kept reading it. I know when storylines are in the two paw range or lower I have given up reading, but this story hooked me in.

If the author reads this and does the editing let me know and I will change the 2-/12 paws to 3-1/2 paws once I have verified it.

I am only giving this book a lower rating because of my statement above even if the storyline deserves a 3-1/2 paw...

Book 2 of the series I would of given this story a 4 paw, but for same reason as stated above the story ends up a 3 paw.
