First Fight part 3/3

Ever since I left the room I couldn't stop thinking about that buffalo built bitch kissing my painfully gay boyfriend. I also couldn't stop thinking about him not stopping her from doing so. I wondered how long the kiss lasted and what happened after.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my bedroom door. I lift my head up to see Junior entering the room. "Hey...you good?"he asks. I bite my lip to stop myself from lying and shake my head. "No." I respond. "What's wrong?" Junior asks again in concern. "That sneaky redheaded pig kissed Jake and I saw it with my own eyes and he still hasn't even tried to tell me and I don't know if he even plans on it and I keep pressing him to do so but nothing seems to be working and I can't get out of my head about it." I ramble to him with my voice breaking near the end.

"Wait she did what? And he didn't tell you!" Junior replies. "She kissed my fucking boyfriend! Keep up asshole I don't want to repeat that!" I shout in frustration. Junior gives me a look before I sigh and apologize. "I just...I want him to come to me about shit like this and the fact that he hasn't makes me wonder if he'll ever communicate with me about anything else. When he doesn't I can't help but get into my head and wonder if he doesn't like talking or he just doesn't like talking to me." I explain to my best friend.

Junior nods his head in understanding. "Come over later. Tell your boyfriend everything you just told me and maybe it'll get better." He says. "Junior! I need him to come to me. I need to know that I can trust him to communicate! I just said this! I cannot go to him first." I reply. He nods again, this time resistantly as if he was going to say more. "Look...you're upset so I'm going to leave but I'll definitely call you later. Okay?" Junior asks. I nod before he gives me a hug and leaves.

Jake's pov (time skip)

I walk into biology class to a half filled room of students and make my way to my seat in the front. The room continues to fill up and I see Devon walk in. He has a oversized hoodie on with the hood completely covering his face and he's speeding to his seat avoiding any interaction with anyone at all. I would offer him a smile but he passes me quickly and takes a seat in the back of the class instead of his usual seat behind me.

The student who's seat Devon has taken brushes off his actions and occupies his seat instead. I throw him a concerned look before our teacher begins to start class. I spend the entire class period stealing looks at Devon and him not acknowledging me once. I was worried. We had just started talking again and I thought everything was fine but he seems to be going through something.

After class I grab Lexy away from her conversation with two random students and drag her to an empty hallway. "Bailey kissed me a few days ago and I still didn't tell Devon yet." I blurt to her. Her eyes widen and her mouth forms an O shape before she lets out a light shaky breath. "You're joking right? Please tell me that you are." She responds. I shake my head slowly and she blinks before shaking her head with a shock expression on her face.

"Okay...wow. Who else knows?" She asks. I gesture between us and her eyes widen for her second time. "You're in deep shit." She says. "Yeah I figured that much." I agree. "You need to tell him, as soon as possible and then you two need to talk to Jailey." She instructs me. I nod. "But how do I bring up something like that? And how do I get him to understand that I didn't mean to wait so long to tell him about it?" I question.

"You just tell him you were feeling anxious and confused and didn't know how to tell him because you didn't know what outcome it would have on him." Lexy tells me. "Yeah....okay, that should be easy. Thanks Lex." I say before walking away, anxiously bringing my left hand to my mouth and biting my nails not even noticing my cousin who overheard the whole conversation.
