I was already half way done rewriting my notes when Cole came.

"Surgery 1 went overtime." He immediately explained. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay. I was just studying."

I didn't even notice the time. I was just studying and rewriting my notes.

"What are you studying?" He asked while preparing the materials he will be studying.

"Gross Anatomy." I answered.

Napatingin ako sa lamesa nang bigla siyang maglapag ng big notebook. I looked at him.

"What's that?"

"Notes." My brow furrowed at him.

"Half is for gross and half is for histology." He said. I smiled a little.

Perks of dating a medical student who's ahead of you, huh.

He ordered coffee before starting. We went silent after that and minded our own materials.

I stretched a little when I finished rewriting my notes for today. My mouth curved into a smile when I looked at the man studying in front of me.

He was reading immensely that he turned oblivious to his surroundings. His brows were furrowed while reading his material and writing his side notes.

"C..." I called his attention.

His eye immediately went up to me. "Yeah?"

"Can I borrow your ipad?"

"Yeah."

Kinuha niya agad yon sa bag niya at binigay sakin. Agad na uminit ang pisngi ko nang makita ko ang lockscreen niya.

It was a picture of myself in Bali— the one I showed him.

"You don't have a passcode?"

"Nakakalimutan ko palagi." Napailing nalang ako at tumahimik na.

Schedule niya for this semester ang wallpaper niya.

I entered my google drive account to access my e-books. I need to study advance for my subject tomorrow.

We were silent the whole time. Nag-uusap lang kami kapag may itinatanong kami sa isat-isa. It was a peaceful study date.

It has always been peaceful studying with him.

He was still studying when I finished. He was not even half way of his material and it's 9pm already.

"I'm done studying." I told him.

"Can you give me an hour, please?"

"Aren't you hungry?"

That caught his attention. "Do you wanna eat? I'll pay."

"I'm hungry." I answered. "Pa-deliver nalang tayo dito?"

Napataas ang kilay ko nang bigla siyang nagsimulang magligpit ng gamit. "Sa unit mo nalang."

"Huh?"

"I'll sleep over." He said.

I scoffed at what he said. "Aren't you gonna ask for my permission first?"

"Uh... Can I sleep over?"

I rolled my eyes at him and found myself smiling.

"Are you sure you're gonna finish that material tonight?" I asked him. After eating dinner, he went back to studying.
