Giyuu had just woken up from his deep, long, slumber.

The early morning was just too welcoming.

He scanned his surroundings, before forming an 'o' with his mouth.

"O-o-ooooo"

"A-a-a-aaaaaa"

He hadn't spoken for a bit, so he was exercising his muscles and all.

"E-e-e-e-eeeeeee"

"H-h-haaaaaaaa"

"S-s-s-s-Sabito"

"Ma-ma-Makomo"

"T-ts-Tsutako-Nee"

"U-u-u-Urokodaki Sensei"

"G-Ga-crap."

The young male stood up a bit too fast, and clumsily, which resulted in him tripping over his bed and falling flat on his face.

"aArGh!"

He got up with a childish pout.

"kOcHo!"

"i nEeD hElP!"

His voice sounded like it was in grave trouble, sadly.

The tiny insect quickly poked her head into his room within seconds.

"Yes, Tomioka-San?"

"When's the Pillar Meeting?"

"T-Today, why may you ask?"

"No reasons, and at how much time is left?"

"A-ah, uh, about ten hours?"

"Just do a quick check-up on me."

"B-but-"

"Please."

"Okay."

"Also, where are my uniform and haori?"

"Oh, here, in this drawer."

Shinobu opened up the drawer next to Giyuu's bed.

"Thank you..."

The check-up went by smoothly. Though the symbol on his chest had gotten slightly worse, they managed to get it under control.

For the time being, that is.

"Well, uh, I'll get going?"

"Sure."

"Bye, thanks Kocho"

"No problem!"

Giyuu walked out the Butterfly Estate, and towards his own.

It was a mild annoyance that his Kasugai crow suddenly perched on top of him.

Not that Giyuu minded that though. 

Kanzaburou was adorable. 

And a great example of what might happen to Urokodaki Sensei.

(Last time he said that, he got a flick to the forehead)

"Ehn? Giyuu? Aren't you nine? Twenty one already? They grow up so fast!"
