In the morning I woke up and got ready and left the house. I totally forgot we had this whole week off besides yesterday. So I decided to go for a run around the block. When i got finished with my run and went back home I saw the front door opened. I walked in and called for Tommy. "Tommy? The front door is open." I said. I checked the time and it was 8 am. He would still be in bed. I closed the front door and locked it. I went to go check if he was still asleep so I knocked on the door and he was still asleep.
Maybe I forgot to close the door when I left? I don't know. I went to shower in my bathroom in my room. After I did I got dressed but while I was getting dressed I heard something break in the kitchen. I was still changing so I called Tommy to see if it was him.
"Hello?"
"Tommy what did you break downstairs?" I asked waiting for him to respond.
"Downstairs? I'm not downstairs. You just woken me up." He said as he yawned. I started to panic.
"Come to my room quickly and quietly. Knock softly 2 times" I said then hung up. I heard footsteps. But 2 not just one. I then heard Tommy yelling. I grabbed my bat and swung open my door and then heard a thud. I look up and see Tommy next to me and a man on the floor. He was holding a knife. I look at Tommy. I pull him by the arm and I drop my bat as we run down the stairs and go to the back door and run to the backyard.
"Who is he?" Asked Tommy. I shrugged. "Front door was wide open when I got back an hour ago. I thought it was you" I said. He shook his head.
"What now? He's coming this way?" Asked Tommy. I looked and the man was in fact running our way. We were cornered by him and the fence. "Tommy climb the fence and go call for help. We'll meet at that park 3 blocks away alright?" I said. He shook his head.
"I can't leave you! Let's go" he said. "Tommy we don't have Time. I'll manage ok" I said. I gave him my ring he had gave me after the arcade game he won. He looked at it then me.
"Give it back to me after we meet up ok? Now go!" I said Pushing him off the fence. The guy was even closer but I ran back into the house and to my room. I barricaded the door with my dresser and other things. I started a stream on my set up.
"Chat! I need your help! My house got broken into and I lost my phone downstairs and Tommy left his phone downstairs too. He ran off to get help. The man has a knife and is after me for some reason. Please! Try to get anyone's attention! I beg you! AHHHH" I yelled as I fell to the floor because the guy broke a piece of the door where his hand could fit. I grabbed my bat and stuck it in the hole and slammed it in the guys face and he whined. "Chat! I beg of you! Please! Get anyone's attention! If I don't make it... god I don't want to think bad.. but if I don't... thank you for everything" I said.
The man broke the door bigger where his whole face showed but he was wearing a ski mask. I yelled again and fell backwards stopping the stream. He kept charging at the door moving it slowly each time. I opened My bedroom window that's over my bed and climbed out onto the roof. The guy who was chasing me climbed up too. I went around on my mothers bedroom window and climbed in. Before I could run away the man climbed into the room as well and tackled me onto the bed.
I was pinned on and he had the knife to my neck. I was terrified. But I was even more terrified when he tried unbuckling his pants. I realized it was the neighbor from down the street who always gave me an ery feeling. "Get off me your creeper!" I yelled. I tried hitting him but he covered my mouth with his hand. He got off the belt and got the rope he had and tied my hands behind my back. I was struggling to escape and I was crying.
"SOMEBODY HELP ME" I yelled. He just punched me to make me stop. He didn't finish tying my hands so I grabbed the knife and cut the rope. He was faced away while I was on the bed tied so he didn't know I got untied. I jumped on his back and used the rope to strangle him with it. Using my thighs to try to stop him from breathing as well. I ran downstairs and unlocked the floor door while he was still chasing me. I didn't even notice since I was busy trying to run away that I had been stabbed cut in the face, Arms and thighs. I was also stabbed in the left rib while the knife was still logged inside.
I ran as fast as I could not turning around and he was still following me. The street was empty and nobody was outside. I had 3 blocks to run to make it to where I was supposed to meet Tommy. I couldn't see from the tears in my eyes. All that I had been reminded was how my own father tried to kill me and my moms ex boyfriend tried to sleep me. I was getting all kinds of flashbacks and the tears just kept rolling down. He got closer each time but I managed to run each time.
