"Lily!" I heard Jacob shout from the bottom of the stairs as I tied my hair up in a ponytail, "Lily!" he shouted even louder after I didn't reply in two seconds.

"What!" I shouted back, walking out my room and down the end of the hallway, making my way towards the steps.

"Mail for you." He said in a calm voice, waving a few letters in the air then putting them on the table by the steps before walking away. I grinned and hurried down, one hand on the banisters as I went, making sure I didn't accidently fall and slip down several since it has happened before... Actually, very recently. Literally this morning.

I snatched up the letters, feeling the one that was the toughest and ripped it open and squealing in delight when I saw the two Lakers tickets peeking out the top. "My tickets arrived!" I sang in a high voice and skipped through the hallway to the kitchen where my mum was leaning on the counter reading vogue with her hair up in a bun, "My tickets arrived," I informed her with a grin,

"What tickets?"

"To the basketball game on Saturday evening," I smiled, "I know Justin and I are going to New York on Friday so we can spend maybe Friday evening and the day of Saturday hanging around then fly back for the game," I continued and slid my phone out of the back of my low-hip skinny jeans and pressed one, speed dialling Justin and holding my phone up to my ear.

It had been a few days since we had made up from our argument and it was officially Wednesday afternoon, he had been busy with whatever he was doing and Bea and I had been finalising ideas for our bakery. We ended up buying the cute café space in Beverly Hills and were meeting with an architect next week to rough up some ideas for the refurbishment. The phone rang for a few moments then Justin picked up, "Hey baby," he said softly but it sounded like he was in a busy construction site with talking and a constant beeping noise.

"Hey, where are you?" I asked out of curiosity,

"Uh, I'm with your dad." He said, a moments silence and I could hear my Dad's voice in the background, "I was interested in what he did so he took me along on a new project," he added and I shrugged, his reason seemed believable so I'll let him think I believe him.

"Okay," I said decisively, "Are you busy tonight?" I asked sweetly, leaning my weight on one hip and blushing slightly as my mum glanced up at me with a smirk. She keeps looking at me like she knows something I don't and it's frustrating as hell.

"I'm not, do you want to go out?" Justin asked and I felt my stomach flutter with butterflies and I turned around so I didn't have to look at my mum smirking at me.

"I was supposed to ask you that..." I smiled, speaking softly and lifting my left hand to my lips and nibbling gently on my thumb nail. My smile widened as I heard him chuckle,

"My bad, where do you want to do?" he asked, his voice soft and a little lower than before.

"I feel like... Pizza, or Pasta... We should go to our pizza parlour," I grinned, Jerry's pizza parlour was somewhere we went for special dates. There was something so strangely cute about there and the people working there always kept us low key.

"Yeah," Justin agreed, the smile obvious in his voice. "I'll pick you up at seven, okay babe?"

"Okay," I smiled, giving up on fighting the grin that was spreading across my lips. Is it weird I still get over excited to see him? Even though I literally saw him yesterday evening when we had a movie date in the cinema room and watched Alice in Wonderland. I enjoy watching films and cuddling with him when it's my time of the month, he always feels extra cuddly to me. Like a teddy bear.
