"Hey i have a question, do you actually really lose your memories traveler?" She ask curious. Aether had 0 idea what does that mean but he still get along with the question anyway.

"I, i don't know, i don't remember clearly." He replied Honestly, but the lady didn't felt satisfied she kept asking about Aether himself that 'He himself' had 0 idea what's going on.

"I know you saved Liyue from the overlord vortex's attack, but I really want to know, what's your real goal? Until making Mr. Zhongli and an adept spoil you like this, what is your true goals??" She ask the last question. Aether widen his eyes, the lady was correct, what was his purpose anyway? Why can't he seems to remember it? Why was his memory always felt so hazy and cloud like?

"I don't-- guh?" He suddenly puke fresh blood after some years, the lady back away and run leaving Aether alone in that room holding his painful corruption started to spread around his body starting from his chest, the mark from Zhongli usually 'fix' his old wound start to crack and spurt alot of golden blood from it. Aether watch limbs and legs slowly losing its strength soberly, he knows that this must me something that really bad, but the lady nor his mouth is able to move just to spoke a name.

"Huk! Gah!" He choking on his own blood, He suddenly felt very sleepy, his eyes felt so heavy that he felt like he wanted to fall asleep, but he can't because he knew that this was not the time for him to fall asleep.

Several minutes later, Xiao came back with Zhongli behind him.

"Sorry for the long wait, traveler, I'm actually having some business to do just a moment ago, i heard from Xiao your corruption--" Zhongli turn traveler chair around just seen the sights that he hasn't seen for so long.
"Oh fuck... Aether are you still here?!! Answer me!!" Zhongli hold him on his arm like a bride Aether was, with a support from one of his leg, Zhongli put one of his hand to Aether chest and start healing him, hoping that it wasn't too late for him to be saved again.

Zhongli grunt and sweat everywhere just to heal the nearly unsaved traveler,
"C'mon traveler, c'mon! Get hold yourself!" Zhongli clicked his tongue and expended some of his original power just to heal Aether that seemed to be almost walking past the bridge that separation between life and death for the second time.

"Xiao!!" Zhongli called out the adepty.
"Yes, Mr.--- Aether??"
"Don't just stand there and help me seal him on the mountain, if this continues without having the power within him get controlled, it'll be a bad news for him. I don't think he can maintain my power with this state of body." Xiao nod and piggy back Aether towards mt. Hualo to meet his adepty friends and sealed him away on that amber.

"We almost there, Hang in there a little bit more..." Xiao beg on unconscious Aether. They arrive and Xiao been discussed the matter with his foe but suddenly, Aether woke up and walked towards him with his shaking leg.

"Xiao??" Aether called before he almost fall on his knees.
"Traveler, don't move, I'll seal you after this, don't worry, you'll be just fine. Xiao hold him on the front.
"No Xiao-- it's fine-- thank you, don't blame my death-- on yourself. I remember everything now,--"

"Aether, no!!"
"Say my thanks to Zhongli, and tell Paimon, don't-- cry anymore, and if you found my sister, tell her,--" he spacing out for some times. "--i've also reach my end of journey, let's go back home."

Aether last words before he turn into the star dust and join back the sky he used and supposed to be, Xiao still in his position, stunned, and can't believe his eyes nor ears for what just happen.

Aether, can finally rest in peace after years. But not with the rest of them, everything suddenly felt so void and hollow, something felt very missed in their days. Everyday felt somehow very, boring for no reason.

"What is it?"
"Paimon think, Paimon should return to where Paimon is supposed to be now." Paimon spoke with sad tone. Xiao walk away said nothing and disappear into the thin air. Paimon look down to the wooden floor below her, and look up.

"Good bye Xiao, good bye teyvat." paimon disappear into the thin dust moment after she hear the news about the 'suddenly gone' compaion of her.
