The Slender Forest

Chapter One

It's been a long time since that incident that happened in those North Oak Woods. The very incident that people don't like to talk about. Even those who survived believe that this so-called incident wasn't one at all because of total fear. This incident first happened when a child went far into the North Oak Woods and was never seen or heard from again. People say that these strange events is one big mystery even still today I believe that this is no mystery.

I believe that this "mystery" should be solved, and it needs to be soon. I'm Johnathon Voyage one of the survivors of the North Oak Woods incident and a part of the town's detective agency. I'll tell you that this was pure terror to me because of the things I saw and experienced myself. So, when I went into these woods, I had seen the truth behind this mystery and not just that I know what did this stuff. It's my job to fully solve this mystery but I don't know what I'll run into out there in those woods.

It's Halloween or as towns people call it all hallows eve, so I think it's time to head back into those woods. Before I go back into the woods, I need to get some supplies just in case I don't make it back. The first thing I need to do is write a letter to my family telling them where I have gone and not to look for me because it would be too dangerous if they did. Now since I'm done with that letter, I need to get my camera that way I can have the things I experienced recorded for whoever finds the recording they will know what happened. This is going to be one journey I will never forget, and it will be one hell of a ride.

Many people don't know the name of this beast but the ones who seen it and those who survived it knows what it's called. We call it the Slenderman he's an eight feet tall and slender humanoid being with a suit and no face with tentacles. He isn't a good thing to see he's a terrifying being that's why no one ever talks about him because he's a killer and a demon. That's why I'm going to go back into those woods and discover why this thing has come and what brings it to our world because it is not human.

This thing needs to be stopped and it's my job to stop it I can't allow more children to be taken at least not on my watch. It's almost every day that a child gets taken by that thing and well no one has dared to try to stop this thing. People say you must be really stupid or suicidal if you think you can take this "Slender Man" on your own, but I say it's worth a try. Since I'm the only one who is bold enough to go face this thing now, I'm still going to make sure people don't follow me and make sure no one see's me because this is something I must do alone, I just can't have other people getting hurt.

I know some people may think it's plain suicide going out there on my own but it's just something I feel like I have to do. I used to be a soldier in the United States Military until I retired. I just couldn't take watching my friends and close ones die in battle it was horrifying to witness but at least I'm doing fine for now. I know what you may be thinking I'm just plain stupid by going out there on my own. I'm sorry but I decided this all by myself. Once I moved back into this town, I figured there was something wrong because how the towns people were always in their house and how they looked like they haven't slept for days because of that "thing" in those woods.

I just know there needs to be an end to it all so these poor people can live their lives and be happy again. I remember their smiles like it was yesterday the expression of happiness and pure excitement was always around these towns people. I remember everything about this town because I was born right here in this small cabin in the middle of North Oak Apartments. It was such a small town back then, but it was known as home to me and my mom and dad mostly me though I loved every single bit of my hometown. So right now, it's time for me to go into those woods and put an end to this horror because this town must be great again it just has to be for the sake of the towns people.

"I believe it is time to take a stand!" I say to myself as I try to give myself confidence before I go off wandering into the forest. "I won't let anyone else go missing and I will put a stop to whatever creature that is lurking amongst those deep and dark woods." I say with commitment knowing that whatever I will face in there will either be evil or demonic. I began to wonder why I am doing this but at the same time I know the purpose of me doing this and that is to save the children and any missing person I may come across if they are still alive that is. "I'm going in those woods and there is nothing anyone can do to stop me" I say as I begin to think about my little brother that had went missing in those woods when I was about thirteen. It is sad that my brother has still never been found so I'm hoping to find any clue that can help me solve his disappearance because I know he would not just run off into those woods because he was scared of them.
