Jamal then perked up and waved "Hey Y/n"
You walked over and hugged him before sitting down "Hey Jamal"
Your eyes smoothed over to Ruby "See this is why Jamal is my favorite out the testosterone trio"

Jamal coughed and said "Duo", coughing again right after but it went over everyone's head.

"Sorry, Hey. How was camp , Mons?" Ruby restarted

"Pretty good. Notice anything"

You were shaking your head. Already knowing what they were gonna say

"You got boobs." The boys deadpanned.

You smacked them both in the back of the head "Do yall look at anything besides ass and tits?"

"Yeah, yall can wait till Cesar gets here to move that table" Monse covered her chest and moved to the side. Ruby was making his way over to his closet.

"We'll be waiting a while" Jamal had mumbled a bit but you still heard

This caught you and Monse's attention "Huh?" she said

"Yall have a fight or something?" You asked

"It wasnt a fight, more like..." Jamal had began until Ruby cut him off

"Drop it, we're not speaking on it. Just know, Cesar is out. Trust us, he's not cool." He finished

That of course didn't bode over with their tall, curly haired friend

"Im not cool with not being cool, and Jay, why aren't you at football?"

"Subject change, we gotta get to orientation."

"Oh! Right! I don't wanna be to sweaty before we get IDs" Ruby  added

"First impressions remember"

You and Monse hadn't cared though.

"Why are y'all deflecting?" You questioned

"Exactly, quit being bitches and tell us already, what happened?!"

"Cesar wouldn't break the our crew on purpose, he's the glue"  she adds.

I stayed quiet. True i was here to be apart of the crew but I really knew a small portion of their dynamics. I'd only been here since the middle of eighth grade and even then, i went to a different school than them. I saw the guys around the neighborhood and when I'd tag along with Monse.

"That was then" Jamal concludes
"Moral is: Cesar aint shit" Ruby had dismissed it as we all turned the corner.

The guys take off anything black as Ruby realized he probably messed up his hair.
