chapter 14. Gluttony and berserk of greed

"Al jiwald! " Marcos and all the knights charged their attacks towards regulus while few mages behind them enabled a barrier so they won't be caught in crossfire. 

All the attacks neared towards Regulus as he had a look of disbelief , he clicked his tongue. 

All the attacks hit Regulus as they created an gigantic exlosion around the area strength like a nuke. 

All the mages started adding more mana to the barrier to strengthen it as it was starting to crac- no, break due to the impact. 

"Arghh! " The mages yelled trying their hardest to block the shockwaves. 

All the buildings around the area fell and cracked down like dried cowdung due to shockwave melting and weakening the base. 

Dust covered all the area like fog with its unpleasant particles making the mages cough . 

The mages disabled the barrier as the knights took out their sword tightening up their guard. 

" Cough be on gua- cough clear the dust cough cough " He stuttered out covering his mouth with his hand trying to stop dust from entering his mouth. 

"Fura! " Few on the knights yelled as they cleared the dust surrounding them. 

"Done attacking? " A voice came out as silhouette of Regulus started to near and be more visible as he held a smirk with a red glint in his eyes which showed satisfaction. 

"H-how? " Few of the knights uttered out as they had looks of disbelief and terror. 

Marcos had a hardened look on his stone face. 

Joshua had a look of disbelief and fear on his face. 

Reinhard clicked his tongue , trying to get the clues from his brain. 

"Al jiwald! " Marcos yelled as he fired his attack toward Regulus, when it hit him, the attack met with a strong barrier in front of Regulus as if repelling his attacks. 

"So, looks like neither range or close attacks can hurt you," Marcos said, analyzing the situation. 

"You got it in your stone brain f-" Regulus began. 

"But it doesn't mean we can't hold you off till we find a way to surpass your barrier" Marcos said, taking out his sword from his sheath. 

"That's it! " Regulus yelled as he bent down and picked up some dirt, Reinhard's eyes widened. 

"Dodge! " He yelled as regulus threw the dirt on knights, Marcos and the knights quickly jumped out of the way and the mages applied barriers. 

The dirt pierced everything coming to his path as it pierced through the barriers like it's nothing. 

"Arghhh!! " Yelled the mages from behind as they were stuck by the dirt in their legs, arm or even chest and skull, The dirt completely annihilated whatever it hit. 

The leftover dirted annihilated the remaining building behind them as the building fell with a thud, dust again covering the area. 

Reinhard swung his sword in the air, clearing the dust from the air. 

"How dare you let yourself again come in my way! Do you have no shame or whatso for a man trying to just clear the pests and move on to his mission! You call your knights but you have no sense of justice in your pathetic self! You are just a bunch of hypocrite knights trying to act Chivalric when you clearly are far away from that. I am a simple man who's trying to Live a quiet life with his wives, i wake up at 7 am in the morning by my wives as they i satisfy myself with them while searching for a new wife, then i take a routine to check their emotions , i'll kill any of them if they showed an emotion even after that they still love me and that's a definition of a good wife unlike a slime slut who hide her race from me and interrupted me countless times , i being a kind person, i assume she was just surprised meeting her soulmate but no! She's a whore , she must have countless times tricked young and humble men into getting into bed with her and making a complete joke out of them! Can you believe how low one needs to be to be at her level! I was able to calm mineself till a required period of time but not anymore! Judging by the fact you were with her! I have every right to kill you, after doing my routine, one of my most good behaving wife, sylphy. She used to have short golden blonde hair, but I wanted long hair so I forced her to grow it. That's how a good wife should behave, now if you have any shame left , let me kill you peacefully" Regulus ranted. 

During the whole time, Marcos was just listening and observing what Regulus was saying, hoping that the enemy would accidentally spit out useful information,which he did. 

"Knight Joshua, Go and find as much information from his wife, Sylphy, remember that she isn't from her and she has golden blonde , so she Will stand out from the crowd, we'll try to hold the archbishop" Marcos ordered Joshua as he nodded and went in search for sylphy. 

"We need to hold him for as much time as possible, to possibly seal him" Marcos said as he looked towards the knights who all had death serious expression. 

"May od Laguna's luck be with us" Marcos added as Regulus got an annoyed look with a fraction of disbelief.
