chapter 14. Gluttony and berserk of greed

It started to descent in the air right to the ground. 

'Let's test if their morale is high enough or not' i thought as patted patrasche on his head. 

"Patrasche, run right under the whale's nose" I ordered her, as she started running, i looked behind to see the whale leaning it's jaw trying to catch up to partasche. 

"The only one who can sniff rimuru-kun is me! " Rem shouted as she bashed her morning star in the whale's head. 

' I knew she was horny for me but this much-" I thought, The whale screamed in pain as it fell behind , Dissapearing from my vision in the dark. 

I sensed another white whale coming in front of me opening it's jaw to charge the fog of elimination. 

"Close your mouth! " Crusch shouted from behind as she used her '100 man strike' charged at the whale's jaw as it screamed in pain. 

"At a glance, the situation looks dismal" Crusch said catching up with patrasche on her snow White ground dragon. 

"Where is wilhelm? " She asked 

"Considering you and me still remember him, we can safely assume he haven't died yet , knowing how badass he is" 

I looked at where rem was bonking the whale on its head. 

"Does the situation seems any suspicious to you? Rimuru tempest" 

"Yes, ever since we engaged in battle with it, everything is suspicious, it's simple  too weak beside its mana absorbing fur , are you sure it didn't call for reinforcement during its battle with the master swordsman? " 

"There is sure a possibility, but we would've known if it's a mabeast which hunts in a group ,  how could we haven't known that till now? " 

"There must be some trick behind this" She added

"I think.. Crusch, listen to me, i have something to say" 

"Mmm , I'm listening"

"I can sense the heat radiating from all living beings, the 1st whale we fought is high up in the sky, when i used my fire storm on the other whale, it was still burning during the moment when it tried launching its fog towards me" 

"You mean the one which i stopped from firing at you? " 

"Yes, it has mana absorbing fur, but it was burning even after so long as if its fur have gotten weaker, i mean i know i inflicted heavy blows to it but still , from my calculation, it's weaker than the one up in the sky" 

"You mean.. They are more like weak whales or babies ? By the way, ricardo got heavily injured" 

"Wait when? Wait, i just realized somethin-" 

I got interrupted as the whale screamed while aiming towards crusch and i. 

"Fire! " Crusch yelled ordering her men, only to be responded with silence, she looked back. 

"Fire, I said! " Crusch ordered but all the mages were frozen in fear, I clicked my tongue. 

"Fire storm! " I yelled as I launched a fire storm at the whale, crusch also launched 100 man strikes Numerous at the whale but this time, it was hellbent on killing me as it didn't stop marching at it despite its wounds. 

It started firing fog from it's holes aimed at me as patrasche keeps dodging them while running. 

Rem panted but returned to bonking the whale's holes but they also stunned for a second before they fired fog at me again.
