From your window, the golden path that leads to the temple was visible and all the people walking the steps, the first priest overdid it, you noticed that around your third life, all the gold had to be shined, including the large statues of the past priests, and that would take about two days every time. Then the outfits, each robe and shirt you owned had gold threads sewn in, and the hairpieces you're required to wear. You've probably lost more weight in your neck just from that than the years of fasting you did to prove your divineness, thankfully, you always awoke once that had passed, when Medea was travelling to the temple.

The church, where you would give the ceremony, was covered it beautiful tinted glass and flowers, the first and second had made it together, a way to welcome the people to the idea of gods. Each seat was taken, some people even standing, except for the seats next to the podium, where the kings, queens, and their children would sit after they had bowed to you.

You walk towards them, and they all kneel.

"May your visions never fail the kingdoms, Your Divineness."

It was to show that, even if they ruled the land, you ruled the people.

"You may be seated, thank you."

You wait for them to sit before turning to the people, Reaven by your side before you let him sit as well. You had to stand the entire time to prove your willingness to handle the hardships of the three kingdoms.

"Thank you all for coming to such a short notice service, I have news you should all be wary of."

You hear the king of the blessed softly question the need of this to his wife and child, Moteon, who would shortly overthrow his father with your blessing.

"The next priest has been born, and it's a woman,"

People almost cheer before you raise your hand.

"Unfortunately, I'm afraid she will repeat the actions of the third. I've had a vision of her betraying the kingdoms and the people, no matter how many ways I revised the vision she will never help anyone but herself."

The new ruler of the golden kingdom, Aurelian, was always the one who ignored your warning but you would make it clear this time, you would fix this.

The many are more important than the few, after all.

"As I know what is best for the people, I will not allow her to rise to power, but in her stead, I must pick a new priest to teach. I will announce the new priest as soon as they prove themselves to me."

"Your Divineness, who is the girl?"

You glance at the commoner who asked that question, would it be better for you to reveal it now? They would know that she has a gift but they trusted you over some girl, of course.

"I'm sorry to have kept this from you, the one with a gift is none other-Hrk!"

Apparently, you couldn't tell anyone, perhaps even the gods wished for you to prove yourself, the proof was a bullet, it had cut through your robe and flesh, sitting comfortably near your stomach yet not far enough to do any real damage, guns weren't very impressive yet, thankfully. Another shot rang out but the knights acted quicker, shielding you with their swords and body as one that charged the attacker.

You were quickly taken away and the commander had ordered everyone, aside from Reaven and the royals, to stay in their seats and knights surrounded the exits. This was one of the highest crimes, the Divine Preist, you, was to never be hurt by mortal hands or the kingdom the attacker hailed from would suffer greatly.

Reaven, who was again sobbing by your side, was ordering both your knight, Damien, to get medical supplies and Aurelian to get you to the holy chambers. Even if he was simply your assistant Reaven was the only one who had a right to touch your body, even the help had to ask, and he could gift others this 'privilege' in scenarios like this.

Aurelian was quick to pick you up, bridal style to keep your robe from touching the floor any longer, and was lead by one of the maids to your bedroom, this was when the pain was getting to you and you started to drift. You hoped the surgery went well, you didn't want to redo all of this already.

"Your Divineness!"

You wince, had you died yet again?

You let your eyes drift to the door, seeing your shaking friend. He rushed to your side and kneeled, informing you of what had happened since you went under, a relieved tone leaving his thin lips as he spoke. He wasn't just shaken up from the past event, no, he was really shaking.

"W-well, the attacker has been caught and is now on trial in the golden kingdom, he hailed from the blessed kingdom and now the King wishes to have your blessing to survive the drought the now plagues his kingdom. The bullet didn't reach anything vital and you'll heal to be just as you were."

You nod, tiredly grasping the ends of his ivory hair with the little strength you had, running your fingers to the middle of his white strands. Hey, if you're going to be reincarnated, why not do things you've always wanted to do? You were so busy playing with his hair that you hadn't even noticed him struggling to finish his sentence.

"Y-you... never told me your family was visiting... She has been escorted to the safe house near the white king- YOUR DIVINENESS, SIT DOWN!"

He was now less worried about your hands in his hair and more worried about the fact that you, someone who has just been shot, were moving as if you were a floundering fish.

"Reaven, pause the trial of my attacker, I wish to give the man a blessing before he dies."

"I can't-"

"Reaven, this is an order I, the High Priest, give to you, my loyal assistant, and it must be completed or by gods, help the kingdoms."

He never heard you give out a Holy order before, these couldn't be refused and if they were then it was considered an insult to you, the kingdoms, and the gods. He hurried to the door, and with a glance to make sure he heard you correctly, left and ordered the help in to wash you quickly.

It was a much simpler bath than last time, you didn't want to waste a second with unneeded things. They dressed you in both the best and simplest outfit, one that would allow you to travel by horse while being very careful to not touch your new scar. You quickly thank them and leave your chambers, the twisted rooms of the temple much more frustrating than they ever were before.

Echoes of your steps filled the golden halls and two more pairs soon followed, Reaven and Damien, one of which also had a bullet wound, thanks to the offender, followed you. They took larger steps to keep up with your hurried pace, confused as to why you thought this was so important. Damien speaks up, voicing what was on both their minds.

"Your Holiness, you act as if this is more important than yourself, you have yet to eat breakfast-"

You raise your hand to the two, silencing them and any further questions as you finally got to the end of the grand halls, and you were able to exit the temple, cape following after you. Even if you had been dressed simpler, you had to dress like the High Priest.

There, was your royal horse, Fiona, she had a gorgeous dark coat and you wasted no time to climb her, your knight and assistant climbing their rides soon after.

You all take off at once, for reasons those two were unsure off but you knew perfectly well.

She will strike there first.
