BEEP BEEP BEEP
Ugh, The first thing Alec noticed when he got up was the blaring alarm running through the once silent room.
Time to train,he thaught to himself. Alec got up everyday to train in the morning by himself. It helps him prepare for the day but Alec was feeling a little different today.
Alec got up and immediately regretted it. His head was pounding in pulsing pain. Alec pushed through it and applied an iratze. The pain subsided enough so he could get downstairs to get some hot tea.
Alec was waiting for the tea to blow when he got a message from his Special Warlock.
Magnus💜: Good Morning Beautiful. Still up for that lunch date? ;)
Alec immediately blushed and smiled. He was going on a date with Magnus later.
Alec: Yes of course, Is Noon Okay?
The tea whistled signaling it was done. Alec got his favorite mug out of the cabinet. It was an old blue clipped mug that he made a while ago with Hodge in his Arts lesson. Izzy kept teasing him about how silly he was for keeping such a thing.
Magnus💜: That's perfect Darling! See you then Love <3
Alec then pored his tea and sat down. He was so drained today. When he got up this morning he was so weak and exhausted. He felt like complete Crap.
He wanted to crawl right back into bed but he wanted to see Magnus today. He didn't want to disappoint him by canceling. No,he was a Shadowhunter. Shadowhunters don't take days off.
As Alec nursed his tea Izzy came striding in. She took one look at Alec and immediately asked if he was Okay.
"I'm fine Iz."
"Yeah, because your face says otherwise!"
"Do you want some -A ACHOO"
"That's it,I'm Calling Magnus."
"No,No I'm fine. I will see him later. I have a Date"
Alec wipes his runny nose with his sleeve. He looked at Izzy with pleading eyes.
"If anything else happens,you can call him. I promise I'm- "
Alec soon began in a huge coughing fit.
Izzy immediately ran to him and applied an iratze.
Alec soon calmed down and looked at Izzy. She already had her phone out calling Magnus. Alec Felt defeated. He didn't want to ruin their Lunch Date.
Izzy got off the phone 5 seconds later and said Magnus will be here any minute.
A portal opened up soon after Izzy hung up.
"Was that really necessary Iz?"
"It most Certainly was Alexander! Why didn't you tell me you weren't feeling well. You know I would have came in an instant. I love you, I would do anything to help my love in need"
Alec looks at him with loving eyes
"Damn,I should be getting this stuff on camera. You guys are too Cute!!!"
"Goodbye Izzy!!!" Alec Shouted.
He immediately began in an another coughing fit.
Izzy left with a smirk and laughed down the hallway.
"Well, Do you want to come back home to the loft or stay here Darling?"
"Loft please, I don't want to be here more than I already have too"
Magnus Chuckled and opened a portal to the loft,out of the Institutes kitchen.
They landed safely home and into the loft.
"Bed or Couch sweetie?"
Magnus was carrying Alec bridal style.
"You know,I'm fully capable of walking on my own.
"I know but I want to take care of you."
"Couch please"
Magnus set Alec down on the couch. Magnus immediately checked Alecs temperature.
"By the Angel Darling, Your burning up!"
"B-But I'm freezing"
"One blanket for now and I will make my famous soup I made for a quarantined town back in the 1800s"
Alec smiled and nodded
Magnus got up and went to the Kitchen. He didn't use it often but when he did,he was quite the Chef. He had cooked for the Queen of England back in the 1960s. Lovely Lady he might say.
Magnus got busy chopping up the vegetables and put them in the boiling pot. He then grabbed the special ingredient that would have his Shadowhunter feeling better in no time.
Being a Warlock,he knew what worked and what didn't. Werewolf drool and a little ginger always did the trick for a cold. He mixed it up and put it into the soup.
When he got back to his Alexander he was sleeping beautifully in a fetal position. Oh how he could just take a picture of his beautiful Nephlim and keep it forever but he knew Alec didn't like pictures.
Alec awoke because he sensed someone else's presence.
"Your staring again." Alec said in a groggy voice with his eyes still shut. Even though he was sick,he still was a Shadowhunter and could sense anything around him.
"Oh, hush dear, I was only admiring the view.
"Here is your soup Love. Is there anything I can do for you?"
"Just be here with me"
If Magnus didn't already love this man anymore than he already did he would have cried in Happiness.
"I'm sorry for ruining our Lunch Date"
"Nonsense Darling. I still got to spend my day with my one true Love. And,I get to take care of you!"
"Can we cuddle and watch a movie?"
"Of course Darling,What do you want to watch?"
"Hmmmmm, Is Twilight Okay?"
Alec made a sheepish face. Twilight was always his comfort movie. And he always had a good laugh when he watched it.
Magnus put on the movie and Cuddled Alec throughout the Movie. Magnus could tell his Alexander was exhausted by the way he was trying to stay awake but his eyes get getting droopy.
Alec let out a small chuckle when Edward revealed himself in the Sunlight. He Sparkled like Magnus when he used way to much glitter lotion. Magnus loved hearing the sound of his love laugh.
When the Movie was over he had a sleeping Alec in his lap. He was so precious. Alec didn't even sense Magnus picking him up and moving him to the fine bed.
Alec stirred In his sleep but cuddled up to Magnus and fell back asleep. Magnus could feel that his fever has broke and he was coughing much less. Improvement, Magnus thaught.
He's going to need a shower In the morning
