Summary: This story is an everyone lives, no one dies universe, AU. It takes place after the events of part 5. Also there's a bit of violence in the plot.

It was always small conversations. Eventually you would find yourself talking to him often. You would always strike up the conversation with him. He was polite and didn't mind the conversations about books. You thought it was cute he'd become excited about the books he read. He always had a twinkle in his eyes when he discussed his books. You two even did book trades. Your books were fantasy based which he found amusing. Yes, you two grew to be good friends. It wasn't long before you grew feelings for him. You always thought it was odd. You enjoyed your conversations with him but you two weren't close. His gentlemanliness also attracted you. It was always small details about him you admired. How he'd place his pen against his lips, calmly grin while he read, or sigh in relief after drinking his morning coffee. There were a couple traits about him you admired most that really drew you to him. It was the understanding of having tiger parents. You mentioned how your parents didn't think your grades were good enough or how they forced you to learn how to play piano. He understood it all too well. He was also forced to learn piano. He surprised you when he told you a bit about his parents' treatment toward him. It broke your heart because they were too hard on him. You comforted him and expressed how you found that he's more than capable of setting his mind to whatever he wants to achieve. He was very appreciative of your understanding and comfort. His warm smile always melts your heart.

You knew all too well your feelings for him developed that day. In fact your feelings for him grow by the day. One day in particular your feelings for him heightened. It was the finishing blow for you. You desired to confess your feelings. What had happened was he walked you back to your apartment. You two passed a florist, she noticed you two smiling and giggling. You two happened to talk about a book you both enjoyed. The florist mistook you two for a couple. She handed Fugo a flower with a wink.

"You have a good day Romeo. I'm sure Juliet here will enjoy the flower."

His eyes widened. Yours did as well but your face was bright red. He didn't hesitate in correcting her about the relationship. The florist simply shrugged with a big smile on her face. He gave you the flower with a worrisome expression.

"Here. I doubt she'll want it back."

"Something tells me you're right." You hold the flower looking it over fondly. "Still, it's nice. We better get going." You said, not wanting to no longer be in this uncomfortable position.

After giving Fugo your goodbye you decide to plan your confession to him. There's much you respect about your dear friend so you plan to express it along with your feelings for him. You hope he'll return your feelings. You no longer want to be acknowledged as his friend. At your desk you begin writing poetry but it didn't come out as well as you planned. There was no way you could read it to him. You sighed and decided to play piano to relax. You then decide to play love songs in hopes of becoming inspired for your confession, which you did. You'll tell him before he heads to work. He always did after you two enjoyed coffee together.

The next morning you wrote down your confession to prepare yourself before expressing it to him. You felt nervous on the way to the coffee shop. You made sure your look wasn't casual. You always dress in heels and a dress but this time you put more effort in your look. You did your hair and makeup since you wanted to feel more confident. You feel they're accessories that help you relax since you enjoy doing makeup. On the way to the shop you earned a couple looks but you ignored them since you only wish for Fugo to acknowledge you: heart, mind, body, and soul. You nervously gulp before heading inside the shop. The barista didn't recognize you until you reminded them of your "usual". Surprised they immediately got started on your order. When Fugo arrived he sat at your booth. He wasn't expecting the new look but he felt it suit you since you always wear nice outfits.
