Bitch Meets Nerd (Revised Version)

Run (Intro)

"Why do I always find myself running from you?! " I scream as I run away from the jocks

Every gym class, I'm running from these guys. Despite the great exercise this is, why am I the favorite target?

"Leave her alone! " Eli says, throwing a red ball at the head bully Rock

"Ahhh! " exclames Rock as the ball hits him in the head

He falls to the ground with a hard 'thud ' as Eli and 'Ling hurdle over him. They pick up a ball and throw it at the jocks behind them, causing them to do the same.

"Coach, do something! "

"What do you mean? Don't you see how great this builds character? Besides, this is great cardio for all of you. So keep running. " says Coach

"HELP MEEEEEEE! " I screamed

Eli swooped me up while 'Ling threw more balls at them. As 'Ling and Eli hurdle more balls at the jocks, completely pulverizing them, I started running toward the gym door and luckily, we made it out just as the bell sounded.

I ran down into the locker room to quickly shower and change before anyone else came. Public showering is so weird. But it's even more weird when everyone seems to have a staring problem.  Being 4'11 is cute and all but not when every other female in your grade is 5'5 and up. Not that I'm unattractive or at least I never felt I was, but a few more inches in the height department would've sufficed.
I tore off my gym shorts and tank top and rubbed down with soap twice. Then I dried off, put on deodorant and then my clothes. I stuffed everything back into my bag and then ran out as fast as I could.

"Where is Elijah? "

"In front of you. " He says

"Walk me to my locker, please? "

He proceeded with no objections and we arrive at the lockers. I push my bag into my locker. It falls back out. Sucks having a top locker when you're only 4'11. Eli picks it up and puts it into the locker.

"Which book? "

"English textbook. And can you get the green composition notebook too? Oh and that pen? "

He gets all my items and shuts the locker.

"Thank you. "

"No problem. "

We walk toward his locker which is only two down from mine. He gets out his Algebra II book and notebook along with a calculator and pencil. He shuts the locker and we head toward the lunch room to join our other friends.

"Hey! " I say to everyone at the table

"Waz' poppin'? " says Remi

"Hi Hi! " exclaimes Crystal

"Yo. " says Trey playing COD Black Ops on his iphone

" What's for lunch? " Eli asks

"This shit. " Remi says, sliding the tray over to me

On the tray were some tator tots- slightly undercooked, some mystery meat, and some greens that smelt terrible.

" Well, I won't be eating today then."

  I needed something since I missed breakfast earlier.

"There's the salad bar, a deli, a vending machine, and a random section. I see pizza. Pizza and salad is nice. " says 'Ling

"I guess. Someone walk with me please?"

"I got you." says Remi

We walk over to the vending machine. Thank goodness mom blessed me with some money for the week. I pull out three dollars.
