Lifestyle: May is a photographer. In middle school she was voted the best photographer in the school, she was even the one who did the school pictures. Though it was mainly noticed by the teachers and councilors, not so much the other students Occupation: She works for a photography store. And she is actually the youngest yet the most successful Any facts: People who want to take pictures mainly request May because they seen her pictures and what she took. And no matter how the other workers tried they can't seem to get anything right. It's always that little something that gets them confused.
Backstory: May was born in New York, New York. The big apple. She had a good life until age 5 when her father started drinking. He got very controlling and abusive. He only got physically when she didn't do what she ask or talked back. Which was often because May tried to stand up for herself. And no matter how hard her mother fought she couldn't stop it. May soon became used to the pain and stopped smiling. Hardly every talking, scared she will get hit again. Then again May was never a talkative person anyway. But yet she was always smiling. Then after her father drank it was very rare when she smiled. And she always came from school with more bruises and scars. Yet she ignored it. Until the school saw and called the police and they were took to court. Which was fine because her mom wanted a divorce anyway. After a long battle her mom won and they moved far far away from her father. They moved to Kyoto, Japan. May really started her photography business and even bought a little area to start selling. And that didn't take long. She then started school and studied photography. Even though she could hardly understand. She stood up most nights learning Japanese and managed to learn the entire Japanese alphabet and how to speak it properly in two months. She also likes to make music. She sings though she doesn't like to show it and knows a little abandoned music store that still has instruments in it. And it's a bit far from the city and she soon cleaned that place up and made it look brand new. Yet on the outside she still makes it look abandoned. So no one can find her secret place to hide.
Personality: May is a shy and quiet girl. She is scared to talk to anyone no matter how nice they are. She is scared they are gonna make fun of her for having a New York accent which has happened before so she chooses to stay quiet. But she is a very sweet girl. She loves animals and sometimes you will find her helping out a hurt animal on the side of the road. And she will heal it back to health and let it go. Again, she doesn't really show emotion. But when she does she has a bright kid smile on her face. Her mom loves to see it when it happens. The only time you will ever see her really smiling is when she is feeling her best. Like when she is out taking photos. A dirty secret of hers is she LOVES carnivals or parties that gather that brings the culture together makes her so happy. You will see her smiling and laughing and dancing and of course taking pictures! She just can't help but smile at those moments. When it comes to dating, May is very scared. She is afraid of loving someone and hurting them. Because she has never been in a proper relationship before. Because she wanted to crave that feeling of love that her father never gave her. Don't get her wrong she loved her mother to death, she was May's best friend and never had any fights hardly. But it always ended up wrong with May's relationship. But she learned to live and forget. So she really doesn't mind. As long as she can live her life the way she wants it!
