Coffee Love

I never thought that I would love a semi-stranger as much as I do. I never thought this crush would get this far- I never thought he would actually talk to me. I imagined so many possible outcomes but I didn't actually believe they would happen. The thing is, the way we talked was much better than I had ever imagined possible.

Many people were shocked when I told them how we started dating- gosh, my parents were right with everyone else. Who would blame them? I was crazy for a guy I never talked to. I was caught up in his god-like looks that I didn't stop to think if he was a jerk. Thank goodness he isn't.

Sometimes you wonder what it would be like to have the man of your dreams but you never realize that someone is wishing you'd be theirs. I never would have guessed that Colton would have likes me back. I had no idea that I intrigued him just as much as he intrigued me.

He makes me feel better. I know that women don't need a man to be happy- we really don't. But Colton makes me feel something I have never felt before. Every time I'm with him, I have a goofy smile plastered onto my face. Colton makes me feel alive.

I'm not going to lie and say that everything in our relationship has run smoothly- it hasn't. We've had our ups and downs but we have always overcome everything we've been faced with. I love Colton with all of my heart and I am so relieved he reciprocates the same feelings.

I was insane for waking up early every morning just so that I could go to a coffee shop to see the guy who sat on the other side of the shop. I looked forward to each day for a guy I didn't even know. But I wouldn't change any of that. I'm grateful to be with the man that makes me happy. He's my sunshine even on my darkest days.

I love Colton Summers.

Those two words made me the happiest woman alive. I will never forget how we met. Or the fact that my first date with Colton, was the day when we first learned each other's name.
