"Get over here you little bitch!" He yelled as he grabbed you by your hair and pulled you closer to him. He then smashed a glass bottle over your head and punched you in the stomach before shoving you to the ground and kicking you repeatedly in the stomach. You curled up and clutched your stomach, choking back your sobs as he continued to beat you until you blacked out.'

You shot up and sharply looked around, shaking and breathing heavily. You felt tears running down your cheeks as you brought your knees to your chest, breathing becoming more and more difficult. You clutched your head as you fought the urge to scream. You choked back sobs as you muttered to yourself, "It was just a dream. It was just a dream. Calm down. It was just a nightmare."

After what felt like hours, you managed to regain control of your breathing. You took deep breaths and slowly calmed down and soon, you stopped shaking. "It's over..it was just a nightmare." You reassured yourself as you continued to take deep breaths, wiping your tears away.

Then the door opened. You froze in fear until you realized it was just Sarv. You let out the breath you were holding in a sigh of releif. "It's just you.." You muttered under your breath, mostly to yourself. "Are you ok? I thought I heard you crying." She asked with a concerned expression. "Y-yeah. I'm fine." You said quietly, relaxing your form. "Alright. Well, breakfast is ready if you wanna come eat!" Sarv said with a smile before leaving the room, closing the door behind her.

You got up and went to the bathroom to wash your face. You don't want to look like you've been crying now do ya? You sighed as you looked in the mirror, drying your face off. You looked tired, but at least you didn't look like you were just having a panic attack.

You sat at the table after fixing your plate of food. Sarv and Ruv were already there, waiting for you. Sarv looked happy to see you, as she smiked when you sat down. "So (y/n), how did you sleep?" She asked as the three of you began eating. "I slept fine." You lied. You didn't want them to know what happened. Not yet anyways. "That's good to hear!" Sarv said happily before taking another bite.

As you ate, you noticed Ruv staring at you, observing you. You didn't know how to feel about it so you just pretended not to notice, but it was a bit difficult since you felt his gaze on you. You and Sarv kept light conversation during breakfast, which fortunately kept your mind off of the man's stare.

~~Ruv's Perspective~~

He knew something wasn't right. As soon as you walked in, he noticed how tired you looked. He saw the pain in your eyes. You looked like you'd been crying, but did a pretty good job to hide it. He noticed though. He was one to notice small things like these. Something was up, and he knew it, though he decided he wouldn't press on it. It still concerned him a bit, but it shouldn't. He doesn't trust you after all, so why does it?

~~Normal Perspective~~

You watched as Ruv finished his food and put his dishes away before leaving to do god knows what. Once you were sure he was gone, you looked at Sarv and lowered your voice. "Why was he staring at me the whole time?" You asked, raising your eyebrow. Sarv shrugged. "I noticed that too. I think he was just observing you. Trying to get a good look at you maybe." She said quietly. You shrugged and decided to just brush it off.

You and Sarv soon finished eating and you washed the dishes. It was the least you could do after all. Fortunately, you didn't get your sleeves or your bandages wet. After you were through with the dishes, you washed your hands before heading back to your room to change into a pair of jeans and a random shirt. You put on your hoodie and grabbed your phone and some money before walking out of your room.

"I'm going out for a bit Sarv." You called out as you slipped your hood over your head. "Alright, be safe!" She replied as you walked out the door. You then walked to a store nearby to buy a pair of earbuds. You made sure to get some of good quality before actually buying them. After that you headed back to the church. That was all you really needed to do.
