Plot Twist

The Bells are ringing, everyone is looking at you and your groom with fondness in their eyes. The beautiful dress of yours shining and shimmering the handsome toned face of your groom right in front of you. 

The beautiful altar is decorated in white and red roses with the Priest announcing your vows. "I pronounce you two as husband and-" 

The priest couldn't finish his sentence when a sudden loud noise of the wooden chapel doors opening erupted , echoing all throughout the chapel.

there stood a young man with his white suit and fluffy hair.. the man looked familiar.. h-he was your ex.. 

Suddenly all the feelings that you have kept locked up in your heart suddenly erupted.. like a newly formed volcano erupting for the first time erupting with so much harshness and molten lava being thrown into the sky.. but for you it was not lava, rather.. it was the love you have felt for the man standing in the entrance..

"I Object!" Your ex shouted.. His tone sounded broken, defeated. Maybe he still loves you too..

"Stop this marriage right this instance!" You remember that same deep calming voice of his lulling you to sleep the nights you've spent with him all the vulnerability that you have shown one another, your nights confessing your love to one another in the park, in the zoo, in the butterfly sanctuary.  Who would have thought you would hear that voice again but with such pain and remorse hidden inside of them.

Everyone stared in shock, murmurs following the surprised gasps.

But you felt divided.. You are with your groom.. and he loves you! And you think you even love him too.. He has cooked you dinner, has been nothing but a gentleman, has lulled you to sleep when your father died in a fatal accident.. and this is how you repay him? 

You stared at Your groom and your ex.. You stared at your soon to be husband.. tears were rolling down his face but he was not looking at you.. he was looking at your ex.. What? Why? Was he crying.. Is it because he can't let you go? And he's seeing you with him being happy..?

That was until you heard your soon-to-be-husband's name being uttered by your ex.. "no.. please.."  your ex begged but his eyes weren't on you.. he was crying- no.. sobbing. He sounded so.. broken.. never in your life have you heard him sound so.. desperate and just completely torn. "you can't.. you can't do this.. do this.. to us"  he followed. Everyone in the chapel stood in shock, giants gasps leaving the guests mouths as you too gasped in shock. confusion laced over your face.. what- what just happened? 

Did your ex just.. call your fiance's name.. but they don't know each other.. The murmurs by the guests grew larger. You could see your mother's expression just as confused and puzzled as yours.. You looked up to see your Groom's face… his face mirrored the sadness and pain you could hear in your ex's voice..  what.. what- is going on?!

"No.. I'm sorry i- i can't.." You hear the man that you are supposed to marry say.. to the man you loved.. Everyone in the room was speechless.. the Priest could not even utter a single word.

"All the nights we've spent together.. the confessions, the love letters., they were all just nothing?!" Your ex sobbed..  everyone went silent. The murmurs were gone in an instant.

 "No- NO! Of Course not- I do.. I do love you!- I mean every word that I say!" Your Groom cried out

"Then.. then why? Why!? Why won't you stay with me instead?!" Your ex started to walk out running away from the chapel wiping his tears with his arms

"I-" You hear your groom call out your ex's name before he goes after his.. lover.
You were still thunderstruck, unable to comprehend what had just happened.
