Chapter 15

"Help! Two vampires were found dead on the East side, 3 kilometers away from the Black Zythe's quarter." A girl that just entered the hall screamed in fear that made us stood up in shock.

T-Two vampires were dead? D-Did black vampires attacked us again?

I can feel Lixe's hand holding mine and we arrived in the said place before I could even blink. Napatutop ako sa bibig ko nang masilayan ang dalawang bangkay ng bampira sa harapan namin na nangingitim na at parang naubusan ng dugo. Based on their look, seems like those vampires sucked all their blood. And the worst is, their body parts were broken because of improper form.

H-How did this kind of thing happened?

"All of you, get inside your dorm right now. The training is postponed due to a sudden incident. We'll fix this immediately so you can go now," Kuya Seven announced with his serious voice.

Nanginginig ang kamay ko habang nakatitig pa rin sa dalawang lalaki na nakahandusay sa harapan ko. T-This place... is where I usually rest and talks to Kuya with such things. Bakit sa lahat ng lugar na pwedeng pangyarihan ng krimen ay dito pa? Now, I'm getting scared and doesn't want to come here again.

"Nia, ihahatid na muna kita. Aalis kaagad ako pagkatapos kitang maihatid dahil may meeting kami sa headquarters. Let's go."

She pulled my hand to come with her but I shook my head."Nah, I'll come with you. Hindi ako uuwi sa dorm, sa library lang ako magpapalipas ng oras. I'm not that tired and I don't feel sleepy."

"Niane, baka magalit si Master Seven. He's not in the mood right now," singit naman ni Heaven sa tabi ko.

"Hindi ako pagagalitan ng pinsan ko. At saka may pinag-uusapan pa sila kaya mauna na ako. He doesn't have to know that I'm not in the dormitory." Palihim kong nilingon ang kinaroroonan ng masters habang nag-uusap sila ni Mavis.

I gave them a slight nod before running away from there. Kahit na tumatakbo ako, hindi pa rin mawala sa isipan ko ang pangyayaring' yon. It was grisly and unforgettable. Hindi ko alam kung ilang beses nang nangyari 'to basta ang alam ko, namatayan na naman ng estudyante rito sa Academy.

What's next? Are they going to attack again? But when and where this time? Ilang estudyante na naman ba ang papatayin nila?

"Narinig kong may dalawang estudyante na namang namatay. They won't stop until they get what they want."

Napaigtad ako nang biglang magsalita si Ms. Librarian sa tabi ko. I wander my eyes around and I just realized that I'm in the third section of books. Hindi ko nga napansin ang pagpasok ko dahil siguro sa lalim ng iniisip ko.

Mahina akong tumango at sinandal ang likod ko sa shelves."They are both Hemiones. I bet Mavis is angry right now knowing that two of her members died. Lahat na naman madadamay sa galit niya. B-But... what did you just say? Anong ibig mong sabihin na hindi sila titigil hangga't hindi nila nakukuha ang gusto nila?"

She gestured me to come with her and so I did. Pumasok siya sa munting silid niya kung saan niya ako unang tinulungan no'ng magkasugat ako. She doesn't like me that time and even pushed me away because I just brought danger to them. Hindi ko nga inaakalang mabuti na ang trato niya sa'kin ngayon.

"Isipin mong mabuti, sa tingin mo ba susugod sila rito at papatay ng estudyante nang walang dahilan? Pagkatapos nilang pumatay hindi na sila magpapakita ng mga dalawa o tatlong araw tapos babalik na naman para pumatay. What do you think, Ms. Azore?"

Napaisip naman ako sa sinabi niya."What do you mean? Na kaya nila ginagawa 'yon dahil sa may pakay sila? Is it because they want to get the magic that Mrs. Yhue has?"
