"A billion? He's kidding, right?" Roman thought.
Roman looked at Jaune even more. Then, he remembered how much Jaune made from his heists in Mistral.
"No. It might be possible."
"So. Why don't we head to my private bullhead and bring both you and your daughter to Mistral?" Jaune asked.
Roman sighed.
"As much as we want to, that isn't possible," Roman said.
"Ah yes. I was told about your little fire problem," Jaune said.
Roman was surprised Jaune knew about his situation.
"Let me assure you that I can put out the fire."
Roman looked hopeful. He remembered how "Alex" defeated Baldor and Kranz. Truth be told, those two had a reputation for being the strongest. For criminals, they were afraid to ever encounter them. Roman was still surprised that they were killed by the lone Alex Mercer.
"You'll take care of her?" Roman asked.
"In a manner of speaking, yes. Yes. She will be taken care of," Jaune said.
Roman smiled. Someone else smiled as well.
Bane hung up his scroll and walked over to Jaune.
"I trust that the conversation went well," Jaune said.
Bane nodded in agreement.
"White Fang! Leave the dust! Let's head out!" Bane ordered.
The rest of the White Fang was surprised and confused but complied with their leader.
[With Sun and Blake]
They were surprised to hear this. However, Blake was relieved.
Still, they wondered why they were leaving the dust. They focused on "Alex Mercer" wondering what he was thinking.
[Back at the Dock]
Bane and the others entered the bullheads and left for a new destination, leaving a single bullhead for Roman.
Roman watched as they left. He turned to Jaune in curiosity, wondering what he did.
A hidden somebody smirked and looked at Jaune with more intrigue.
"Where did they go?" Roman asked.
Jaune smiled.
"Let's just say they don't have to be forced to steal dust anymore," Jaune said.
Roman got the idea.
"Now, then. Shall we leave you two?" Jaune asked.
Roman and the other were surprised.
"She can stay hidden. After all..." Jaune started.
He turned to Sun and Blake, making eye contact with them, much to their surprise.
"It's best if our audience doesn't know what she looks like."
Roman looked where Jaune was looking and saw the two.
"Who are they?" Roman asked.
"Students. Don't worry. I have a feeling they won't bother us," Jaune said.
"Shall we go?"
Roman nodded. He and the hidden somebody entered the bullhead with Jaune.
[Back with Sun and Blake]
Blake got up and wanted to go get some answers, but Sun stopped her.
"What do you think you're doing?" Sun asked.
