She barely registered him biting down on her neck few moments later, before her body went limp, vision blacking out, body slumping against his.

XD noticed this immediately, as he huffed, pulling away from her bitten lips, supporting her body with his arms, wrapping her in a hug so she wouldn't fall to the floor.

"Hm, now, they'll know that you're mine."

He smiled to himself, proud of his marks, that were blooming pink already.

He stroked her tear stained cheek, smiling in awe, carding a hand through her hair, then, with a soft touch on her cheek, XD steadied her breathing, getting rid of her headache in the process with healing magic that not many gods possessed.

She was still unconscious though and it was good.

"Too bad that you have to forget about this."

He huffed, frustrated, pressing her head on his chest, to hold her for a little bit longer before he had to go back to continue the research.

He didn't want it, but Y/n's safety was on the line.

And he couldn't risk that.

With a flick of his wrist, he went through her memories, dismissing the ones he found unnecessary for her to remember, replacing them with false memories of him spending time with her.

He also got rid of the fear, anger and all negative emotions she felt towards him, instead filling the hollow spot in her soul with positive emotions for Y/n to feel towards him.

A huge grin tugged his lips, as he was done fixing her and he swept her off her feet, picking her in his arms and marching towards the couch, gently laying her down on the soft surface and pressing his lips against her cheek once more before snatching his mask from the air, as it was floating at his will and equipping it back around his head securely.

As he was done, sparing her unconscious body an affection filled glance, the deity teleported away, back to the realm of Kristin's.

"Y/n? Where are- oh phew, you're asleep..."

Phil exhaled quietly, relived to see her after a being gone for almost a day.

He stuffed the supplies he got in the chests, tossing now empty bags aside with a huff.

But it wasn't enough, he needed to be fully prepared by the time Techno comes back from the...visit on Dream.

He went to brew himself some tea, since he was on the verge of dehydration from mining whole day.

He forgot his bottle of beverage at home, so he couldn't drink anything else out there.

Once done, he poured the tea into his cup, taking a sip of the hot beverage, almost burning his tongue.

Again.

Minutes passed like that and Y/n finally stirred awake with a lazy yawn.

She stretched her limbs, flexing her hands to get rid of the numbness in them.

Hopping off the couch, she marched into the kitchen, where Phil was, petting Steve.

"Oh, you're awake!"

"Hi Phil."

She smiled, pouring herself some tea as well since she woke up thirsty.

"Bleh, it's almost cold."

She cringed as she took a sip of it, pouring the liquid out in the sink before settling a kettle with fresh water above the furnace for it to boil.

Philza laughed briefly, shaking his head at her silliness.

"So, what did you do today, Y/n?"

"Oh, I was with XD, actually. He told me some stories, they were quite interesting to hear."

Philza hummed, listening as she rambled about the great day she had.

"Wait. Are those...hickeys?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"
