School was over for today. Jingyu waited for Weizhou in front of their class. Weizhou asked him to wait because he had something to talk about to Ryan. Jingyu really wanted to hear what they were talking about, but he knew it would be an inappropriate thing to do.

Ryan tried to organize his sentences well when talking to Weizhou.

"Zhou... are you serious... about... expelling Alex... from the band?", he asked carefully.

"Yeah, why? He's so annoying. You know that too, right?".

"Yeah, but he's a good drummer. And can I ask you something personal?".

"What??".

"I... saw you... and Jingyu, this morning. And to be honest, lately I've been paying attention to you.. and him... Sorry, maybe it's just my vague thoughts, but...".

Weizhou held his breath, but he was afraid to hear Ryan's question.

"Do you like him, Zhou?"

"Huh??". Weizhou tried to fake his facial expression with his stupid face.

"Like him? What do you mean, Ryan?".

"You know exactly what I mean, Zhou".

Weizhou turned his head. "He's our friend, of course we would like him right?".

Ryan took a deep breath. "Zhou, you pay too much attention to him. You even play truant just to calm him down. And this morning, I saw you were riding your bicycle with thim and you sat too close with him".

"What? I just leaned my head back. It's because I felt sleepy, Ryan. And it's just.... just...".

"Zhou, I'm not judging you and I don't care if you really have different feelings for him, but... can you separate your personal feelings from the band's business?'.

"What do you mean?".

"Alex. Do you want to get him out of the band because he's annoying, or because... he made Jingyu angry?".

"Ryan....".

"Sorry Zhou... I just don't want our band all messed up just because of your people".

"Ryan, have you forgotten what I've done for the band?".

"Of course not. I really appreciate it. Every sacrifice you made for this band. I know it's because of you that our band gets so many opportunities to perform. Thanks to you, but....we have a show next month. They are paying us for it. Think of it as the first step to our professional career. And if we let Alex out just because... your excuse...".

"Wait... what do you mean by my excuse? You also agree with this. You said he was annoying".

"Yeah, I did say so. But he's a great drummer. He is a hard working and smart member. We don't have enough time to find a replacement in less than a month".

"Ryan...".

"Zhou, you are the leader of this band. I hope you can solve any problem wisely".

Weizhou couldn't help but stare at Ryan's explanation. He massaged his forehead. Every word that came out of Ryan's mouth seemed to pierce his heart.

"Okay Zhou.. thanks for your time. And now I have to go. Bye...".

Weizhou just nodded and his mind was still racing to solve this problem.
