Jaune's life wasn't easy. The news of his fake transcripts made everyone turn on him. The people he thought he could trust abandoned him. His family disowned him. They either hurt him or turned a blind eye to his torment. Jaune was soon expelled. Ho...
Jaune's eyes widen. His eyes turn red in pools of black. His skin becomes a deathly pallor. He looks at his hands and arms as they are pitch-black.
Jaune looks at his arms.
"Hmmm. A Geist can possess inorganic matter."
Jaune touches the ground, soon it merges with his arms. His sleeves rip from the transformation as they get bulkier with stone.

"Sweet."
Jaune points his arm out, sending out shards of stone at a tree, obliterating in the process.
He chuckles.
"I wonder what else I can do."
Jaune had some ideas.
Time went by, and Jaune decided to call it a day training his new powers.
He transformed back to normal, the stone bulk falling to the ground.
He sprinted back to his apartment.
[With Lil' Miss Malachite]
At the Spider's tavern, Lil' Miss Malachite was pondering the information she received from her agents who went to Brunswick Farms.
"From the report, he killed three Apathy by just stepping on them. And that's just what the residents saw. Who knows how he dealt with the rest of the pack," Lil' Miss Malachite thought.
"But that's not the interesting part. He could be close to Apathy and was unaffected by their will-draining abilities. And given how he killed three of them at close-range, it can be theorized to say that he did the same with the others."
Lil' Miss Malachite smirked.
Although she was curious of what else he was capable of and could have him tailed to find out more, she decided to take a more polite approach and give him his privacy. After all, she had a feeling he'd be seeing her more often given how he needs to find more Grimm.
"Jaune Arc. No. Jaune. I wonder what else you are capable of."
[With Jaune]
Jaune walks in, only to be greeted by the landlord, Kovidar. He ignored Jaune's torn clothes.
"Hey. Just so you know. The rent's due in a few days," Kovidar said to Jaune.
"I understand. I'll have it," Jaune said.
Kovidar nodded in understanding.
Jaune makes it to his room and shuts the door.
He tosses his bag to the floor and lies on his bed, his hands behind his head. He thinks back how it's almost been over a month since his abandonment, expulsion, and disownment.
He's purchased books on science and read many medical journals and dissertations, broadening his knowledge.
Over time, he's gained new abilities from the Grimm he's killed as well.
These new abilities made it easier to gather more information.
He smirks at how strong he's gotten.
"I think it's time to earn some cash."
(A/N (1): For why he works out. Well. Even Superman lifts.)
