Prince Donghyuck wants to leave the castle, but his father won't let him. He finally has an opportunity to when he meets a mysterious boy.

It was late, far too late for a prince to be out of his room. Donghyuck didn't mind, though, he just wanted to read. And what else are you supposed to do when you're not allowed to leave your castle?
"I seriously don't think this is a good idea." Jungwoo, one of his cats mumbled, trailing behind the prince as he entered the palace library.
"No, it's a good idea. Why a library though? Why not go outside? or to the rest of the kingdom?" Yuta, Donghyuck's other cat, argued.
"Baby steps." Donghyuck giggled.
"No! No steps! Can we please go back to your room?"
"Father won't kill me. I just wanna find the second book to the series I'm reading." Donghyuck sighed, lighting a candle and bringing it up to his face. He made a silly face, looking to the side and sticking his tongue out. Jungwoo shrieked and Yuta laughed. Donghyuck laughed as well, lowering the candle and examining the moonlight streaming in through the rounded windows. It bounced off the wooden shelves and made the empty tables glisten.
"That wasn't even scary! It's a good thing Donghyuckie is the only one here who can hear us talking." Yuta smacked Jungwoo, who was curled up in a corner.
"I'm done. Find your fucking book and then we LEAVE."
"As you wish your highness," Donghyuck said, rolling his eyes and walking away.
"Seriously. What if Jeno or Mark find you hiding in here?" Jungwoo continued, his voice echoing through the room.
"If Jeno finds him it's fine. If Mark finds him we run." Yuta giggled.
"Exactly," Donghyuck mumbled.
He reached the aisle where the book would be located and brought the candle close to the books. His face reflected off of their shiny backings. He sighed, scanning for them. He reached a book with a similar title and author. He pulled the book towards him with his finger. He thought the space behind the book was empty, instead, a face stared back. Donghyuck screamed, running backward, and almost dropping the candle. He bumped into the bookshelf, making it wobble slowly.
"Who was that???" Yuta cried, sprinting over to him.
"I-I don't know! We have to get out of here- now!" Donghyuck whispered back, blowing out the candle and sprinting to the door. He was stopped by someone tugging on the black cloak that hugged his body. His eyes widened.
"Who are you?" The voice called. Jungwoo and Yuta bolted in front of Donghyuck, hissing at whoever was behind him. "Woah, Woah, please calm down little cats! I'm not gonna hurt you."
Donghyuck took a deep breath, squeezing the book in his hand. He whipped around and smacked the book at the mysterious man's head. With the single blow, the man collapsed on the floor; he was unconscious.
