We spent our younger years in school learning and writing in morse code. We were always bored somehow, and, being 'Straight-A Students', we were usually already done with our assignments. We goofed off writing curse words or gossiping about our peers, all the stuff you'd expect from middle schoolers. We had nothing else to do, so why not, y'know? Our classes were boring for the most part anyways, we just did the work because we had to. Even in college we cheated on tests, passed notes, even passed exams, all because of morse code. Eventually, we got together in a romantic relationship, having liked each other for quite the bit then. It was usual for people our age to already be in relationships, so people made fun of us for starting 'too late." After graduating we rented an apartment and lived together, as we really had no other choice. We worked for the local police station after majoring in criminology. It was a simple life, and we still communicated sometimes by tapping on the walls in morse code. Sometimes we'd talk about the meaner clients. We'd laugh a bunch about that, our coworkers did too.
