My eyes fluttered open. I sat in pure darkness, with a light shone above my head.
From what I could tell, I was strapped to a wooden chair, hands bound together.
I struggled to get out, rocking the chair back and forth.
"Ahh she's awake" a low voice emerged from the shadows.
He stepped closer to me, leaning down our eyes met, his face inches away from mine.
"So..." I began.
"Are we about to kiss?" I smirked.
"Only if you want to sweetheart" he chuckled.
I was abit taken a back.
He straightened himself back up.
God, was he gorgeous I thought.
Snap out of it Sage, it's not the time.
"I'm not fixing to die, right?" I asked nervously.
"Mmm...about that" he said stepping back.
"Listen..." I started.
"I'd like to apologize" I said.
"No, you don't. You want me to pretend getting stabbed never happened, so you don't die" he spat back.
"It seems to me your doing just fine" I smirked.
The man, whom I presumed was the prince, was now dragging a chair to sit infront of me.
"Here" he said as he slid something across the floor.
I took a long look at it, trying to make out what it was.
A gun
What the hell am I gonna do with a gun when I'm tied to a chair?
"What is this for?" I asked blankly.
"You want to kill me don't you? Well here's your chance" he says.
