You and I ,
Met and separated,
Died and reincarnated,
But what we had was not intersection,
Meeting you did not change my direction,
It gave a strange sensation.
We were in the same plane,
You and I,
So distant yet similar,
I know we won't be able to intersect,
Still you give me solace,
As I know I am not alone.
Someone moving at your own pace,
Going forward to face whatever there is,
Though we both think in the same direction
And we move at the same direction,
You never intersect with me,
Nor will I with you.
If staying true to myself,
Won't bring me towards you,
Making us incompatible,
Then so be it,
We shall be together like parallel lines,
We will both strive to seek ourselves,
Who knows what will happen?
We might never intersect after all,
Or maybe we were just destined to meet at infinity,
Where nothing can do us apart.
